LOS ANGELES—In the now celebrated monthly tradition broadcast live to thousands on its Instagram page, Vixen.com Thursday afternoon pronounced Kira Noir its 24th Vixen Angel.
With Vixen CEO Greg Lansky presiding over the proceedings, the honor was bestowed upon Noir by previously coronated Angels Riley Reid, Karlee Grey and Jessa Rhodes.
"I'm beyond happy," Noir told AVN. "Greg Lansky sets always made me feel like I got to pretend to be a princess for the day. Getting to have Riley Reid put a Vixen necklace around my neck felt like I was getting crowned as a real princess."
She added, "I'm incredibly honored that Angels like Jessa Rhodes and Karlee Grey welcomed me into the fold. And the Vixen Angel photo shoot is going to be one of the most regal shoots I've ever done! Today was pure magic."
Lansky returned the sentiment, telling AVN, "Aside from her incredible beauty, Kira is one of the most positive and kind women in the adult industry. Wherever she goes she lights up the room with positive vibes and smiles, and everyone knows how much I love positive vibes! She's an exceptional addition to our amazing roster of Vixen Angels and we're extremely proud to support her.
"The photos that are coming out in the next few days are absolutely incredible," he continued. "I'm really proud of Kira and our entire team for pulling it off. They worked tirelessly for two days in the hot Death Valley under 127 degree weather! The exclusive Vixen Angel photo shoot is an homage to Donyale Luna, who's been referred to as 'the reincarnation of Nefertiti,' was the muse of Salvador Dali and said to be the first black supermodel. She was an icon of her time and Kira is an icon in the adult industry, so we wanted to create something special inspired by this time with our flavor to it. We're very excited!"
