LOS ANGELES—The second installment of 10-time-consecutive AVN Best Parody winner Axel Braun's latest superhero endeavor for the Wicked Comix imprint, Spideypool XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, went live today on Wicked.com. The new scene finds adult star Kenzie Taylor donning her Captain Marvel costume to once again reprise her award-winning role as Carol Danvers in a high-energy tryst with Ryan Driller.
“I couldn’t wait to bring back Kenzie as Captain Marvel!” said Braun, who has been an exclusive contract director with Wicked since 2013 and produced every movie the studio has released since becoming its head of production in 2020. "She looks better than ever, her acting is phenomenal, and her sex scene is ridiculously hot. On top of that, having her on set is always a treat, she has a great sense of humor and she’s totally awesome in every way, so I’m always looking for ways to put her in my movies."
Spideypool XXX marks Taylor's third appearance in the Marvel AxelVerse as Carol Danvers. Her association with the character began in Braun's acclaimed Captain Marvel XXX, for which she received such honors as AVN's Best Transgender One-on-One Sex Scene award for her beguiling encounter with TS superstar Aubrey Kate. She would go on to reprise the role in Black Widow XXX: An Axel Braun Parody, which paired her with Gamma exclusive contract performer Seth Gamble's Deadpool. Black Widow XXX's many accolades included 2022 AVN Awards for Best Actress - Featurette (Lacy Lennon), Best Featurette, and the first-ever Mark Stone Award for Outstanding Comedy; Best Parody from XRCO; and the NightMoves First Choice award.
“When Axel asked me to come back as Captain Marvel in Spideypool XXX I was ecstatic,” said Taylor. “I got the chance to work alongside incredible people. To top it off my sex scene with Ryan Driller or should I say ‘Dr. Strange’ was really hot, we have great chemistry. Captain Marvel is a highly requested character so being able to show up again in the AxelVerse was amazing. I love being able to give the fans what they want!”
Ryan Driller’s history with Axel Braun dates back to 2010 when, fresh off his mega-blockbuster Batman XXX, the acclaimed director decided to cast the then-unknown performer in the titular role of his first Vivid parody Superman XXX. It would become a role that Driller would go on to reprise eight times in the DC AxelVerse, and a major turning point in Driller’s career which effectively turned him into a superstar overnight.
“Ryan had an obvious star quality from the start,” said Braun. “He showed up to audition for Superman XXX and the moment he walked in I instantly knew it couldn’t be anybody else. Since then we have collaborated on many movies, and he has always delivered inspired performances. In Spideypool XXX he’s absolutely hysterical as Dr. Strange, and I’m already planning ways to bring the character back!”
The newly released scene also features a return appearance from award winner Ana Foxxx as the beguiling bundle of extra-dimensional energy known as Monica Rambeau, a role she originated in Captain Marvel XXX, and her interaction with Spider-Man and Deadpool, albeit non-sexual for now (their three-way will be added as a bonus scene on the DVD release in February 2023), is hilarious.
“Ana is such a seasoned actress,” said Tyler Cruise. “Acting with her and Seth was a real treat, she has great comedic timing and she is extremely professional but also very personable. And she’s super hot, which definitely doesn’t hurt!”
In Marvel fandom, Spideypool is shorthand for the popular "slash” teaming of Wade Wilson (Deadpool) and Peter Parker (Spider-Man). While Deadpool and Spider-Man’s relationship in the comic book canon has always been contentious, Wade is rarely all-out bad, and Peter always tries to see the good in people, character traits that have laid the foundation for a hilarious, if unlikely, superhero bromance in fan culture that’s inspired thousands of works of visual art and slash fiction, but no live-action films before now.
