LOS ANGELES—It’s a provocative title that fits its far-from-white-bread leading lady. In Leigh Raven Prove Something, director John Stagliano offers up the tale of an exotic fetish adventurer compelled to hide her true self. And indeed, the movie features the distinctive performer Leigh Raven almost unrecognizable under conservative hair, makeup, glasses and a business suit.

The Evil Angel Films feature/star showcase—which also offers up Raven’s first double penetration performance—premieres today on VOD for fans who want to see the entire movie right away. Its DVD debut comes October 22, with the content also emerging that month for members of EvilAngel.com.

Raven’s look is central to the identity of her character in Prove Something. Her entire body is elaborately tattooed; she wears her hair cropped short and shows off her famously split tongue. But in Prove Something, Raven’s character fears how the world might react to her real self.

“This movie came at a pivotal point in my career, and this story really hit home for me,” Raven explained. “I’m done being what people want or expect me to be, and I thank John and the Evil Angel team for allowing me to tell that story.”

The young actress and the acclaimed director collaborated on the project. “John and I really put all of ourselves into making Prove Something,” Leigh revealed. “I’m so honored that he trusted me in helping with casting and sharing thoughts and ideas. John respected my opinions and catered the character and story around my actual personality.”

Stagliano says the movie “shows Leigh’s acting skills as well as her sexual talent. It is a great pleasure to work with an intelligent performer who I can bounce ideas off of, and who contributes so much of herself. Leigh was a real pleasure to work with. And I loved shooting her sexy body!”

The plot unfolds with Leigh hiding her lithe, model-quality body—with its tattoo adornments—in her straight job environment, creating sexual tension among herself, her employer and her clients. She “tries too hard” at this job, and her repression leads to paranoid dreams of rejection. Leigh comes on to boss Ramon Nomar in one such nightmare, sliding her forked tongue into his nostrils. He rips off her wig and dress, revealing her crew cut and radical tattoos, before her character awakens in anguish.

The star’s enthusiasm for Prove Something is not limited to its story. “All four scenes include top talent, anal, squirting, and are some of my dirtiest scenes yet,” Leigh asserted. “I also shot my first d.p. in this movie! I’m so happy that the one and only Buttman directed my first d.p. I’m super excited for my fans and Evil’s fans to get their hands on this movie.”

EvilAngel.com members can access its four scenes on October 19, 20, 21 and 22. Until then, the movie is available exclusively on VOD. To get a preview, see the trailer on EvilAngelVideo.com.
