Alternative paper Real Detroit Weekly ran a profile of alternative porn-maker Joanna Angel as the cover story for its "Love & Sex" issue, on stands this week.
Entitled "Joanna Angel: Porn's Punk Princess," the story provides an overview of Angel's career and a short interview with the writer/director/performer, whom it deems "any punk rocker's wet dream."
"This came as quite a surprise," Angel told AVN.com, "especially since I've been to Detroit, like, once in my life. But nonetheless, I'm very flattered. It's funny that I have been in, but not made the cover of, The Village Voice or the LA Weekly — two cities I spend all my time in — but made the cover of the Detroit Weekly."
The issue also contains features on Wicked Pictures contract starlet Kirsten Price, Digital Playground's Jesse Jane and Shay Jordan, male performer Mr. Marcus, the I Rub My Duckie vibrator line from Big Teaze Toys, and the 2007 AVN Awards Show, among other sex-related subjects.
