Jill Kassidy Discusses Porn Career

LOS ANGELES—Jill Kassidy knows she looks innocent, but it turns out the “sweetest girl in porn” has a nasty side.

“I like the messier stuff,” she admits.

The 21-year-old native of Dallas tells AVN she enjoys getting sloppy and “weird” during sex scenes when the mood strikes her. She did just that recently for Mike Adriano’s hardcore BJ site Swallowed.

“I like the spit play and choking with a dick,” Kassidy says. “I like it, but not too much. I don't want to be only doing crazy scenes.”

A year and one month into her porn career, Kassidy continues to be in demand for all kinds of performances as dozens of blue-chip studios and premium websites want her on their set. Represented exclusively by LA Direct Models, the personable rising star tells AVN that at first she wasn’t sure if adult entertainment would work out.

“I didn't know how I was going to end up, if I was going to do well. So it's cool that I'm still getting a lot of work, and I love it,” Kassidy says.

A former high school cheerleader who grew up going to Dallas Cowboys games, Kassidy took some college classes and later moved to San Antonio with her ex-boyfriend, finding a job at a timeshare company before porn.

“I was the person that brings the people in to sit through those two-hour long bullshit [sales pitches],” Kassidy says. “I don't remember what my job title was, but yeah, it was really good money, but I felt bad trying to get people to go do this and take their money every day because I wouldn't want to do it.”

She continues, “I worked at Starbucks before that. I've done surveys where you pay people to do surveys at the mall. I've worked at restaurants. I was a hostess. I worked at Applebee's in high school.”

Kassidy found LA Direct Models after searching for talent agencies when she was 19 out of curiosity.

“I had a boyfriend at the time, and he wouldn't let me do it, so then we broke up, and like four months later, I remembered about LA Direct,” Kassidy recalls.

“I was compared to Riley Reid when I was younger, and so I would always follow her on Twitter, and I followed Mia Khalifa when I was younger. I was interested in these girls—on Twitter and Instagram. So that's kind of what made me want to do it. I was like, ‘Oh, I could do that. I could be like that.’”

When she first arrived in LA in late June of 2016 Kassidy was only scheduled to stay for two weeks.

“And I ended up just staying this whole time. I just never went back,” she says. “When I first got to LA I didn't really know what to expect, but I had one of my best friends who lived in Long Beach, so I wasn't really nervous to be in LA I was more nervous like, I hope I do good, and I hope people like me.”

It sure looks like they do.

She hasn’t kept track of how many scenes she’s done in the past year but she estimates it’s more than 150.

“It seems like I've worked a lot,” Kassidy says. “I know there's been months where I'll be working almost every day. And they take a long time to come out sometimes. I had a Penthouse scene and it took almost an entire year for it to come out.”

Derek Hay, owner of LA Direct Models, tells AVN Kassidy carries herself differently now than during her first six months in the industry.

“She’s definitely found herself this year,” Hay says. “I think she’s really decided that this is what she wants to do. She’s really a shy girl, but she has more confidence now. She’s having a great year.”

Even though Kassidy landed in LA with no prior modeling experience, she liked being in front of the camera from the beginning.

“The first time I did it I remember it was fun because I always liked people watching when I had sex,” Kassidy says, noting her first scene was for NetVideoGirls.

Just three days after that scene was released, someone from her hometown found it.

“Because one guy was subscribed to the site, so everybody knew after that,” Kassidy says. “He messaged me. He was like, ‘I can't believe you do porn now. That's so cool.’”

She got mixed reactions once the news about her porn got around—some were shocked and others even thought she was “tricked” into doing NetVideoGirls because of the setup to the scene.

“No one was really rude about it, except for an ex-boyfriend,” Kassidy says.

She counts one of her best experiences thus far as the feature she recently completed for the upcoming site PureTaboo from the creative team at Gamma Films Group led by Head of Production and director, Bree Mills.

“The storyline is really good, and it's just crazy and fucked up, so I'm really excited,” Kassidy says. “I think it’s my favorite thing I've ever done, because I get to act kind of crazy in it.

“Normally, I always play someone innocent.”

Mills tells AVN Kassidy has “an awesome attitude” and is fun to direct.

“With PureTaboo, I tend to gravitate towards stories that feature teen characters,” Mills says.

“Jill is a performer who I've had my eye on for awhile, having shot her for several other Gamma Films brands. I really love her perfectly all-American look and sweetness. She is the definition of girl next door. So, naturally, that's just the juxtaposition I'm looking for when it comes to the characters I write. Who can I take who looks perfectly normal on the outside and showcase the darkness within?”

Mills continues, “We shot one of my regular episodes together and she was a great fit on set—one of those performers who you want to put into a million different scenarios. So, when I went about writing my first feature for the studio I knew she had to be one of the principal characters. Behind that sweetness and great sex performance, I knew there was an interesting, complex actress. And I wanted to give her that vehicle.”

Kassidy says she has one of the lead roles in the title—which is co-directed by Mills and Craven Moorehead—that is set to be released when the site launches in September.

“It's me and Kristen Scott,” she says. “I really like Bree because she explains things really well and she makes sure we all get it so it all flows really well.

“Me and Kristen are in school, and I'm like the popular girl and she's the girl that everybody's scared of. But then she kind of cracks me and she makes me crazy.”

Mills says the movie is titled Half His Age: A Teenage Tragedy and will be released on VOD and DVD, along with being featured during the launch of the website PureTaboo.com.

“This feature is all about teen taboos and the moral of the story is to never ever let an 18-year-old girl fall in love with you!” Mills says. “Jill's character, Lola, is my version of the quintessential teen girl—taken to the extreme.

“We all remember being that age, when the small details in life seemed huge and you thought your first love would last forever. With her character, she embodies all of these traits but takes them further than any normal girl would take them. And, as a result, it takes the story to a place where other teen porn concepts have probably never gone.”

The co-director of the 2017 AVN Best All-Girl Movie Missing: A Lesbian Crime Story says Kassidy was “fantastic” as Lola.

“She really gave us everything and pushed herself further than I have ever seen her before,” Mills adds. “ Along with her co-star Kristen Scott, I am pretty confident that fans will be thrilled to see a side to Jill that they have never seen before. I was thoroughly impressed and plan to collaborate with her again in the new future. She is definitely one of PureTaboo's ingenues!”

Kassidy does a boy/girl scene, a boy/girl/girl, and a B/G/B/G in the movie.

Speaking of career highlights, she also points to her threeway with Natalia Starr and Xander Corvus for Vixen.

“I really like my recent Vixen scene with Natalia Starr. I think we work well together,” Kassidy says. “I haven't had these scenes come out yet, but I did a couple scenes for Jules Jordan, and I did a couple scenes for Elegant Angel, and I really want those scenes to come out because I feel like they're gonna be really pretty.”

Jordan, who already has three scenes with her in the pipeline including a freshly shot threeway with Markus Dupree and Bella Rose, says Kassidy is “definitely one of the top new starlets.”

“She’s just naturally sexy,” the AVN Hall of Fame director tells AVN. “It will be fun to watch her progress in the industry.”

When Kassidy worked with five-time AVN Male Performer of the Year Manuel Ferrara in a point-of-view scene for Jordan’s Manuel’s Fucking POV 7, she confesses “I ate a boy's ass for the first time.”

“It was spontaneous,” she says. “But yeah, I liked working with him. I’ve worked with him twice now. I like those because they're really easy, and it's good quality.”

She also has separate scenes coming up with 2017 AVN Hottest Newcomer Lana Rhoades and three-time AVN Male Performer of the Year Mick Blue for Elegant Angel and a threeway with Johnny and Kissa Sins for Sins Life.

Looking ahead, Kassidy says she’d like to get naked with Riley Reid, the 2016 AVN Female Performer of the Year.

“I've wanted to work with her since the beginning,” she says, adding that they’ve yet to meet. “I saw her at AVN's, and she was just really far away and I'm shy and awkward, so I didn't want to go up to her.”

She also wants to do naughty things with Megan Rain and Uma Jolie.

“I just got to work with Cherie DeVille. That was really cool. And I want to work with Jenna Sativa.”

Meanwhile, Kassidy says throwing down with Keiran Lee for Brazzers was memorable because “that was the first rougher scene that I did.”

“All my other scenes were super, super innocent,” Kassidy continues.

“It’s scary because you never know when you're just going to stop getting work. So yeah, I want it to be for a really long time but I don't know how long they're going to want me to last. If I can, I want to do it for at least 10 years. That'd be really cool if I could make it last a really long time.”
