WEST LOS ANGELES - Wicked Pictures contract stars Jessica Drake and Kaylani Lei will be lending their support Friday to the first annual Cuties for Canines benefit, an event being attended by a slew of other celebrity guests, all for the cause of saving dogs from euthanasia in L.A. shelters.
Cuties for Canines is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing red listed dogs in and around Los Angeles about to be put to sleep. The current number of dogs in need of homes is uncommonly high due to the hundreds displaced by the Southern California wildfires.
To be hosted by organization founders Bobbi Sue Luther and Jennifer Reuting, the Cuties for Canines benefit is taking place at West L.A.'s 5th & Sunset Studios, located at 12322 Exposition Blvd., with doors opening at 8:00 p.m. and red carpet arrivals scheduled for 8:00-9:30 p.m. Admission is $50, and tickets will be available at the door.
In addition to Drake and Lei, celebs slated to be there include: Megan Fox (Transformers), Lena Heady (300), Seth Rogen (Superbad), Thomas Decker ("Heroes"), Lucy Davis ("The Office"), Amber Smith, Gina Lee Nolin, Brande Roderick, and Victoria's Secret supermodels Alessandra Corin Ambrosio and Isabeli Fontana.
Entertainment will include DJs Christopher the Minister of Sirius Satellite Radio and Casey Conner, plus face and body painting, a portrait lounge, martini and tequila bars sponsored by SoBe, and light food by popular L.A. restaurants such as Chan Dara, Bombay Café, Kado Sushi and Buddha's Belly. A silent auction will be held during the festivities, and attendees will receive Wicked Pictures gift bags.
