JesseJane.com Launches

Digital Playground and contract star Jesse Jane have launched her only official Website (www.jessejane.com) following what the studio calls "an unprecedented demand for Web content." According to Digital Playground, thousands of people signed up to the site prior to the official August 20 launch.

Digital Playground Director of Publicity Adella O'Neal told AVN.com the Jesse Jane site was a year and eight months in the planning.

"We wanted to have a lot of content," O'Neal said. "We wanted it to be perfect, and we didn't want anybody to sign up for a paysite and be disappointed by a lack of content. We've been creating exclusive Web content for JesseJane.com since we signed her. We did the soft launch a week ago to make sure we had no bugs and today was the official launch."

Asked about the thousands who signed up before the official launch, O'Neal said that came through a live splash page with Jane's e-mail for those seeking notification of her personal appearances and all related news.

The site features exclusive video and photo content from Jane's professional and personal life for members, including detailed behind-the-scenes looks and Jane herself making frequent appearances for scheduled live chats with members by way of a live video stream, rather than the typical typed interaction.

Jane also plans to answer e-mail personally through the site and provide daily diary updates, with those on site now including entries titled "Movie," "I Hate Airports," "Shopping," "Oh My God I Went 2 Church!," "Chillin in OKC," and "Back In LA."

"I got up today, and Josh made me go to church with him," wrote Jane on August 15. "I was freakin' out because I don't even remember the last time I went to church. I went, and it was a cool one. They had a rock band play, and stuff, but still can you believe I went to church! I actually learned something there though that really makes you think about things. People's biggest fear is failure, and yet people's biggest pain is regret. Doesn't that make you think? It made me realize just do what I want to do (even though I pretty much do that anyways) no matter what. Take risks, live life, and have fun! So I am."

That's for members willing to pay $29.95 for a 30-day membership, including twice-weekly site updates with new video footage and photographs and all major credit cards acceptable. Site guests can access official Jesse Jane e-cards, photos, desktop photos, banners, a shopping cart, news bulletins, and an FAQ section, as well as live DP Tonight broadcasts and Jane's exclusive biography and filmography, her print resume, and her schedule of forthcoming appearances.
