Jenna Jameson Retires from Performing

Jenna Jameson has retired from performing, according to published reports.

In an interview with US Weekly in which she was asked if she was done with porn “forever,” she told the magazine, “Yes. A hundred percent.”

Jameson, who owns Club Jenna Inc. and is a longtime Vivid Girl, could not be reached for comment at press time.

Her new movie, I Dream of Jenna 2, from Club Jenna/Vivid, hit the streets today through Pulse Distribution. Jameson earlier this year starred opposite Janine Lindemulder in the top-selling Janine Loves Jenna.

The multiple AVN award-winner told AVN earlier this year she would be the subject of an upcoming feature film about her life based on her best-selling book, “How to Make Love Like a Porn Star: A Cautionary Tale.” Her 2004 autobiography was on the New York Times Best-Seller list for several weeks.

In January, Jameson’s directorial debut, Jenna’s Provocateur, was nominated for several AVN Awards including Best Director and Best Film. It earned the award for Best Editing.

Among Jameson’s other blockbuster hits are Bella Loves Jenna, Briana Loves Jenna and The New Devil in Miss Jones. Jameson’s AVN Hall of Fame career includes winning the AVN Best New Starlet honor in 1995.

In 2005, Jameson hinted at stepping away from performing because she had enough extra footage built up to last for several years.
