Jenna Haze: It's Her World, We All Just Stroke in It

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — By collecting the X-Rated Critics Organization (XRCO) award Thursday night for Female Performer of the Year, Jenna Haze officially earned the finishing cherry on top of what could be the hottest winning streak seen by any performer in the history of adult.

Beginning, technically, in summer 2006 with her F.A.M.E. Awards victory for Favorite Butt (her first prize since taking Best Solo Sex Scene and Best New Starlet at the 2003 AVNs), Jenna began steadily racking up increasingly noteworthy accolades which propelled her into that higher echelon of in-demand status most adult performers never reach.

Some of those honors included: 2007 AVN Best Oral Sex Scene, 2007 F.A.M.E. Favorite Oral Starlet, 2007 Rog Reviews Best Female Performer (Fan Favorite), 2008 AVN Best Couples Sex Scene, 2008 XRCO Orgasmic Oralist, 2008 F.A.M.E. Favorite Anal Starlet, 2008 Adult Nightclub and Exotic Dancer Awards Adult Movie Entertainer of the Year and 2008 Rog Reviews Best Female Performer (Critic's Choice).

It was with her win in January, however — as will be broadcast to the world on Showtime beginning Saturday night — of the 2009 AVN Award for Female Performer of the Year that Jenna crossed over into history book territory. That night, she became the second porn star ever to be awarded both the Best New Starlet and Performer of the Year AVN trophies (the first was Missy).

She subsequently garnered the same title from XBiz and now the XRCO, thus capping off a high-flying run the likes of which this industry has seldom if ever witnessed before. And one that shows no signs of slowing down.

Aside from having recently launched her own production company, Jennaration X Studios, with the self-directed Cum-Spoiled Sluts (distributed through Jules Jordan Video), Jenna is now being seen, just hours after her historic XRCO win, by audiences nationwide in a cameo role in debuting mainstream action film Crank: High Voltage.

How is Jenna reacting to this dizzying career peak?

"I'm very grateful to be where I am today and I really never expected so much success," she told AVN. "It's crazy to think of myself in the same league as huge superstars like Belladonna and Jenna [Jameson]. I think maybe it's just that I really enjoy my job and it shows. People can tell and so I get awards for it! Pretty bad ass, I think.

"I'm just a sweet little stoner girl," she summed up. "Who loves to fuck."
