LOS ANGELES—Jasmine Sherni admits she was moved to tears when she heard she would be receiving the Twistys Treat honor.
The rising star from New Orleans received the news from her agent Marvin Love, who co-owns The Bakery Talent Agency and also is a director for Brazzers and Digital Playground.
“I started sobbing,” Sherni says. “My agent sat me down at the end of my shoot and I was like, oh my God, am I in trouble? And then he told me and I started crying.
“Twistys was something I had seen other really notable girls be featured in. I look up to Kazumi—she inspires me a lot—and I remember seeing her as a Twistys Treat. And I thought to myself one day I want to be doing these types of things and I can’t wait to get to a spot where a company like this wants to feature me. So it wasn’t something I was expecting so soon.”
Sherni, who made her professional porn debut less than a year ago, worked with stylist and director, Lea Lexis, and photographer JT to create the images for her September Twistys Treat of the Month spotlight.
“I’m really excited for it,” Jasmine says. “I’m really proud of the work we put into it.
“I had worked with Lea’s team before doing social media days, but that was my first day actually shooting a production with them and it went great. I loved her direction and I feel really comfortable knowing that if something doesn’t look good, Lea’s going to let me know.
“Everything she puts out is just mindblowingly beautiful.”
Sherni cherished the opportunity to have input on her wardrobe, slipping into a traditional Indian Sari dress that was white with red embellishments for one of her looks.
“That was a really special piece to me, especially because growing up we didn’t have a lot of money for traditional wear,” Jasmine says. “That was the first Sari that’s ever been draped on me for a photoshoot.”
In another look she donned a red and gold dupatta, a South Asian scarf.
Sherni also wore a stunning gold top that Lexis made herself as she mixed and matched various pieces.
JT photographed her wading into a swimming pool and being playful in an adjoining spa before going inside for additional shots in a lavish living room.
“Part of the inspiration behind having the water and Sari’s and flowers was if you look at South Asian culture there actually is a fair amount of pictures of women in water surrounded by flowers and I wanted to recreate that,” says Sherni, whose father is Punjabi. “Also I think the water is really sexy, it turns me on. I love looking at things that are sheer and wet. I love videos in the shower and in the bath. Water turns me on.”
Sherni says she loved the photoshoot so much that she became emotional by the end.
“Afterward I hugged Lea and sobbed in her arms,” Jasmine says. “This felt so big and so important to me and it was so meaningful to have her help me bring this to life. I get to not only be a Twistys Treat of the Month but I get to be beautiful in my own way—a way that’s not seen in a lot of American mainstream things.”
She chose reigning AVN MILF Performer of the Year Penny Barber for her TOTM girl/girl scene. The pair had worked together before—taking on Mick Blue together for Brazzers.
“Even before we had that scene I had looked her up. I was impressed by her,” Sherni says. “And that day on set I felt like we had really good chemistry. I am so excited to see this scene because the chemistry and the sex was so amazing.”
Sherni worked as a critical care nurse before adult. Sometimes at night she would attend sex parties, where she would experiment with the BDSM and kink lifestyle.
When she decided to leave nursing—she also had been food blogging for years—Jasmine began doing lifestyle modeling and in 2022 created an OnlyFans page that took off.
“And I made the decision about a year in that if I got the offer to go into pro porn that I would,” she says.
Then during a trip to Croatia her friend Marvin Love asked if she would be interested in shooting for Brazzers.
Sherni made her ZZ debut in a scene with Chris Diamond, Angel Gostosa and Zane Walker titled “A Bollywood Tail.” The trailer became a viral sensation on X with 8.7 million views since Oct. 30, while the scene has exceeded half a million views on Brazzers.
“That was a dream that it would’ve been so viral,” she says. “It got such a great reception.”
Sherni in the spring began to shoot a lot more scenes, estimating she’s done about 20 so far including new outings for Brazzers, Digital Playground, Reality Kings and Mofos.
