High up in the Santa Monica Mountains, on a temperate day that’s still slightly shrouded in coastal fog, a top-notch team of adult performers lounges in a remote, rustic location. It’s like summer camp, only a whole lot sexier. It’s another all-star, all-X-chromosome production from Sweetheart Video director Ricky Greenwood.

Although the movie that’s being shot today is intended to both frighten and excite, the mood couldn’t be sunnier. After all, some of the biggest cut-ups in girl/girl porn are on the premises, and they’re having a great time together.

The movie, titled Terror Camp, is coming out on VOD at the tail end of September and then on DVD in the spooky month of October. Most of the cast is on set: Aidra Fox, flashing her 500-watt smile; Abigail Mac and and Aiden Ashley, still riding high after an invigorating girl/girl liaison; Charlotte Stokely and Alexis Fawx, sharing their passions for everything from vitamin therapy and organic gardening, and relative newcomer Cecilia Lion, a little subdued amid this cast of powerful veterans.

Director Greenwood calls it “a dream cast. That is what I like about those big movies. I can put everyone I like in it. It’s an all-star game. … They know their lines and they are ready.”

Aidra Fox is the protagonist, a student who’s obsessed with a mysterious paranormal presence that lurks in the woods. “I’m hunting witches. There’s a history that I have here with family members and I’m trying to figure it out. I come here and I drag all these people along with me,” she explains.

Alexis is Aidra’s professor—supposedly there to provide a guiding hand, until her hands stray over Cecilia’s tempting flesh. And the rest of the cast is along for the ride—with detours along the way for hot hookups in various outdoorsy settings: cabins, tents, a rusty 1969 Dodge van. The wardrobe is appropriate to the setting. “It looks like an REI commercial,” someone jokes.

Once edited together, Terror Camp will be a paranormal mystery movie with a framing device that features Silvia Saige as Detective Bale, picking through evidence about a cold case that includes audiovisual material. And Greenwood’s dream cast is here on this remote set to create that footage.

“We tried to shoot it differently because it’s a found footage movie so every shot needs to be justified by a camera or something that is catching it,” Greenwood explains. There to make the magic happen are two of the best in adult cinema: James Avalon and Matt Holder. “Every time we’re filming something,” Greenwood says, “they have to ask, ’Where is the camera? Who’s filming that?’ We had to think about every shot and make sure everything makes sense. …

“The most challenging thing was figuring out the reason why they were filming sex scenes. Why did they leave the camera on? I guess that question will never be answered,” he says with a gentle laugh.

Avalon shows off some stunning stills of Aiden and Abigail in a nearby cabin where they did their sex scene. Perched by a cliff, it has stunning views of the hillside out the window. “In the video, the camera was just set on the table and it was kind of crooked. … Then they hear something and [one of them] gets up and knocks the camera over.”

He confesses, “I didn’t want to knock the camera off the table, so I’m actually holding it and rolling it. … I haven’t seen the footage of it rolling off the table yet.”

Abigail and Aiden share their delight with the setting. Abigail describes the scene: “There was little cabin with this deck suspended over the canyon. It was beautiful and the fog was drifting in. … I put my arm around [Aiden] and said, ‘Let’s just enjoy this for a second.’”

Aiden was thrilled for a different reason. “I have a thing for heights, so that was pretty exciting. … It really turns me on. So [Abigail] threw me up on the railing. It could have been a life-or-death situation with one wrong twitch,” she exclaims.

Now that they’ve gotten a fair amount of footage shot, it’s time for lunch—homemade spaghetti. The cast gathers, and the one-liners start flying.

Both Aiden and Charlotte talk about their roles in Greenwood’s last big feature, Girls of Wrestling. "I have at least five outfit changes in this movie,” says Charlotte.

“My signature move is awesome,” Aiden brags. “First I have to body slam you, then i have to jump on your face, and then I’ve got to smother you with my vagina.”

“It’s like a pussy chokehold,” Abigail deadpans.

The performers offer some insight  into what else is set to happen today. Gianna Dior and Shyla Jennings will be arriving soon to do a scene in a tent, which is being set up a little way away from the deck where everyone is eating. And later tonight, sparks will fly between Cecilia and Professor Alexis. Cecilia describes her character: “I’m the little bitchy one that’s kind of fighting with Aidra. … Just getting on her nerves and just kind of pushing her.”

Abigail plays a drifter who gets picked up by the core group. ””I’m the dirty gypsy,” she teases. “I’m just trying to have sex with girls.”

“You do a good job,” Charlotte says.

Charlotte and Aidra have to wait until tomorrow to do the last big scene. They posit some theories about how the sex might go down. “Things come over us and we just get stuck in the moment,” Aidra says. Charlotte ad libs some dialogue: “I admire you, and your strength and your beauty—and you have great boobs. … If we’re naked, we’ll be warmer.“ Everyone cracks up.

Charlotte says she loves scary movies where the audience doesn’t see the assailant. “It just leaves you to have so much imagination. It could be anything—a tentacled alien, a witch, a miniature pig that flies…”

Adds Aiden, “The lighting guy covered with a sweatshirt.”

Everyone howls with laughter.

Despite all the levity, these performers are more than ready to snap into character when the time comes. And they appreciate the chance to be in this location, with all its varied settings. “It’s not on a white couch in a white room,” Abigail marvels. “It’s so pretty. Let’s do this all the time. … I know that women appreciate the setting.”

After the shooting wraps, Greenwood mulls over how it all has come together. “It was very good. It was tough—I had to be creative—but it was very fun. The location was great. … We have some nice spooky moments. The girls were incredible.”
