Internext Seminars Now Available Online

AVN Media Network, the producers of the Internext tradeshow, have announced a strategic joint venture with X2K, a digital media services provider, to stream archived seminars that will be available to tradeshow attendees and industry professionals for a nominal fee.

Topics covered by the seminars include legal issues, billing, content, new technologies and marketing strategies.

"The Internext seminars are the best source of up-to-date information available to adult Webmasters. Over the past four years, I have been tremendously impressed with the knowledge and experience that the panelists bring to the table,” Frederick S. Lane III, an attorney and published author who moderates all of the seminars at Internext.

For instance, at the Summer 2003 Internext held in Hollywood, Florida this past August, Lane moderated a legal roundtable that included some of the top lawyers in adult entertainment including Paul Cambria, Clyde DeWitt, Joe Obenberger, Larry Walters and Greg Piccionelli covered up-to-date legal issues that are pertinent to adult Webmasters including the new Amber Alert Network Bill.

“It’s unfortunate that more webmasters can’t attend the Internext seminars. They provide a wealth of knowledge to any caliber of Webmaster,” said Piccionelli, who has participated in many past Internext seminars representing his firm of Brull, Piccionelli, Sarno & Braun.

Currently ten seminars, four from Summer 2002 and four from Winter 2003, with two from the recent Summer 2003 Internext shows (Traffic Management and Online Billing) are available at both Internext-Expo.com and X2K.net.

Three more seminars taped at the Summer 2003 Internext will be posted by the end of the year.

X2K streams their video utilizing their own hybrid of cutting edge technologies. The seminars are encoded in a beta version Windows Media 9 that offers the advantage of being compatible with Mac OS X platforms. A third-party wrapper is used to provide digital rights management and perhaps most importantly, the video streams are delivered by an edge streaming network that offers superior delivery by directing users to the nearest server in a network spread across the country rather than delivering the media from just one server.

“X2K focuses on the quality, security and integrity of all of our streaming video, “Stephen Bugbee, vice president of marketing for X2K Media Services told AVN.com. “That means we offer the best content, we protect the content with the latest, most secure, digital rights management technology and we offer the highest bit rates that we can possibly deliver.”

“It’s a great way for companies to educate their non-attending employees. The information obtained from these seminars is crucial to the success of our industry,” stated Renee Johnson, Show Manager for Internext.

X2K Media Services Group is a media services group focused on serving the adult community from conception to distribution.
