As of next Monday, all Vivid Entertainment features will be released simultaneously in both VHS and DVD formats.
Virtual Love, a feature that stars Kira Kener and Dayton, will become the first Vivid feature released in that fashion on August 10. The new release schedule is already showing results, with orders for Virtual Love approximately double what Howard Levine, the national sales manager in charge of Vivid product for LFP, anticipated.
“For instance a very large distributor doubled their orders. A large chain that we deal with tripled their orders. They wouldn’t pick up the DVD before because they felt everyone who wanted to see it picked it up on VHS,” Levine told AVN.com.
