HIGHTSTOWN, N.J. - The producers of Spunk'd have signed an exclusive deal with IVD to wholesale the DVD in brick-and-mortar stores and online.
“We wanted quick coast-to-coast distribution to all of the quality adult video stores nationwide, and doing this deal with IVD gives us that ability from the moment the movie is packaged,” said Spunk'd producer/director Justin Kane of 6969 Entertainment.
A press release compared the deal with IVD to "a musical act not signing with a record label and instead going right to the distributor for CD sales." 6969 Entertainment has retained the VOD and internet rights to the movie.
Spunk'd stars Nick Manning and Hillary Scott in a parody of the MTV series Punk'd. The movie features six hardcore sex scenes with top performers including Penny Flame, Katie Morgan, Aurora Snow, Jada Fire, Ginger Lea, Dru Berrymore, Eva Angelina, Kelly Brooks, Kaiya Lynn, Lexi Belle, and Vanessa Lane.
“We’re totally stoked and excited as we look forward to Spunk’d getting a great deal of recognition and we will do a great job placing it into the best stores not only in America but also worldwide,” said IVD’s Frankie K. “Spunk’d is the perfect movie for those looking for great sex in a completely unique production. Added Kane: “We’re excited to be with IVD on an exclusive basis and from what I’ve been hearing, our initial numbers are really strong and the movie’s only been out for a couple of days.”
