The hardcore art-house feature All About Anna won three Scandinavian Adult Awards last week at the Erotic World Fair in Copenhagen. The awards ceremony was the first in an annual series presented by Danish website Side6.dk.
Billed as "a fully explicit mainstream erotic film for women and couples," All About Anna took trophies for Best Scandinavian Couples Film, Best Scandinavian Actor (Thomas Raft), and Best Selling Scandinavian Star of 2006 (Gry Bay). Filmmaker Jessica Nilsson also received a Best Director nomination.
All About Anna was co-produced by Zentropa Films, the company behind Lars Von Trier's Dancer in the Dark. The movie made its North American theatrical debut in January as part of a series hosted by Doc Films. Wicked Pictures plans to release the movie as a special edition DVD this spring.
