LOS ANGELES — Vivid-Alt ringleader Eon McKai hosts an evening of rebellion this Wednesday, April 9, to celebrate the release of his new movie, The Doll Underground.
Taking place at Little Cave (5922 N. Figueroa St.), the party kicks off at 9 p.m., and free DVDs will be handed out all night. In addition to McKai, Doll cast members Lexi Belle and Reagan Maddux will be in attendance, as well as artist/designer Buff Monster.
The Doll Underground concerns a girl-gang led by Pixie Pearl that rises up from homogenized suburbia to take on the reigning dictatorship known as the "Owners." The movie has been buzzed about since early 2007, when an arcane "first communiqué" was leaked virally online.
