Smash Pictures and IFG North America believe in their September 30 DVD release of Hot Rats so much that they’re willing to send a lucky contest winner all the way to Barcelona and back. The distributor who secures the most pre-orders for the forthcoming DVD by 4 PM on Friday, September 17 will qualify for a deluxe prize package including: airfare, accommodations at the Sands Hotel, tickets for all five days of the Barcelona Erotic Film Festival, VIP passes and tickets to the Ninfa Awards, and tickets to the official IFG luncheon and private party with the film’s stars. The trip will correspond with the festival, September 29 to October 3. This year’s scheduled headliners at the storied festival, now in year 12, include Rocco, Jill Kelly and Ron Jeremy.
Asked about the elaborate contest, Smash Pictures Manager Stuart Wall told AVN.com simply, “We want to promote our latest acquisition, Hot Rats, directed by Narcisco Borges and starring Michelle Wild and Nacho Vidal.” He continued, “We think this is one of the best releases ever, and we want to share our success with our distributors. It was awarded 5 stars by AVN in an upcoming review. It’s that good.”
Wall will personally track all orders and keep a running total. The winner will be contacted and the prize will be arranged the week of September 20.
