Playgirl Profiles Female Industry Execs

Adult industry executives Theresa Flynt, Marci Hirsch and Joy King are profiled in the latest issue of Playgirl Magazine. The three ladies speak out on sex, feminism and pornography in the May issue, which is available now.

"With the way women in the adult business are usually portrayed by mainstream media, I thought it was important to hear from women that are professional, confident and happy with the work they do," said Joanne Cachapero, who wrote the article, titled "XXXecutive Women."

"They all agree that whether you're in front of the camera or behind the scenes…if you have a strong sense of self-worth and a good work ethic, you can be successful."

Theresa Flynt is the Head of Video Marketing for LFP and the daughter of company founder Larry Flynt. Marci Hirsch is VP of production at Vivid Entertainment Group and Joy King is VP of special projects for Wicked Pictures.

Playgirl has also recently undergone a complete redesign. The new format will debut with the June 2007 issue.

"We wanted to bring Playgirl into the 21st century with more content, a higher level of sophistication with photography, and crisper writing," said Managing Editor, Nicole Caldwell.
