Playboy Searches for the Girls of the Big 12

Playboy photographers are hitting the road to find all-American coeds at Big 12 universities for its annual college girls pictorial.

Playboy spokeswoman Theresa Hennessey said more than 20 photographers have fanned out across the Midwest to search for models to be included in the October issue.

Altogether the magazine plans to interview hundreds of coeds at the 12 campuses making up the Big 12 Conference. The magazine has published the popular pictorial of college girls for more than 30 years.

This week, photographers visited the University of Nebraska, Lincoln and will next visit the University of Colorado, Boulder on Monday and Tuesday; followed by the University of Oklahoma, Norman and Texas Tech University, Lubbock; both on March 27 and 28.

Other campuses to be visited include Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, and Kansas State University, Manhattan, on April 3 and 4; the University of Kansas, Lawrence and the University of Texas, Austin, on April 10 and 11; Baylor University, Waco, Texas and the University of Missouri, Columbia on April 17 and 18; and Iowa State University, Ames and Texas A&M, College Station on April 24 and 25.

Candidates must be 18 or older and be registered as full- or part-time students at a Big 12 university. Those interested in scheduling an appointment with a Playboy photographer or for additional information may visit www.playboy.com/pose.
