<i>Phone Sex Grandma</i> to Premiere at Slamdance

Opal Dockery’s Phone Sex Grandma, a short film about a 60-something grandma working a phone sex line in a small Southern ghost town, will premiere at Park City’s Slamdance Film Festival January 21-27, 2006.

Dockery’s screenplay was one of 50 selected for the fest from over 3,000 entries worldwide. Phone Sex Grandma is her acting and screenwriting debut.

Dockery, is also the author of the novel Thoughts of a Stripper: A Mother’s Story, an autobiographical tale of a single mother traveling across the country on a burlesque circuit in the 1970’s.
