VCA Pictures is set to release Neu Wave Hookers, which will hit the streets on January 17.
Directed by Eon McKai, Neu Wave Hookers comes with a three-disc special edition DVD set,offering McKai’s feature movie, a disc of special features and a full version DVD of the original 1985 Dark Brothers’ New Wave Hookers - starring Ginger Lynn.
“This is a great package because we reached back into the past to bridge the gap between old and new, by offering the Dark Brothers’ New Wave Hookers movie, along with Eon McKai’s Neu Wave Hookers,” said VCA Pictures’ head of sales and marketing, Peter Reynolds.
“This isn’t a remake,” stressed McKai, who currently finds himself at the forefront of the alt-porn movement. Neu Wave Hookers is billed as a “re-imagining of an XXX milestone.”
"As a huge Dark Brothers fan, this was my dream project… from the girls in the film to the soundtrack. I got to work with Joanna Angel, Dana DeArmond, and Riley Mason,” McKai added.
Neu Wave Hookers also stars Justine Joli, Tiger, Nyomi Zen, Sierra Sinn and Felix Vicious.
“I think that this movie will become a modern day classic on its own merits and certainly the multi-disc packaging is a bonus,” Reynolds said.
The three-disc collector’s edition of Neu Wave Hookers will be in stores everywhere on January 17 from VCA Pictures.
