Finally, after a long haul, the original motion picture soundtrack to Inside Deep Throat is complete and will be in stores by KOCH Records on December 13.
Considered the most profitable motion picture of all time, the 1972 adult Film, Deep Throat was more than a titillating curiosity and a huge moneymaker. It was a cultural blockbuster.
The Inside Deep Throat album is a creative mix of vintage pop nuggets (including the hard-to-find, six-plus-minute version of the Andrea True Connection's "More More More"!), contemporary '70s-inspired throwbacks (by critic faves Danielle Luppi and Mocean Worker), original score (from maestro David Benjamin Steinberg), dialogue interludes, exclusive liner notes from directors Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, and brand new recordings of songs featured in the initial Deep Throat film release (from French wunderkind Chris Joss).
