Dark Angels 2 Honored by AEBN

New Sensations’ 2005 hit Dark Angels 2 Bloodline, has won for best feature at the fan-voted AEBN VOD Awards.

“High budget movies are a very risky venture, so it is very rewarding to receive and award which has been determined solely by fans. No politics, just numbers. Thank you AEBN and fans for your continued support,” said New Sensations President Scott Taylor.

The movie, starring Barrett Blade and Sunny Lane in her first feature, tells the story of the vampire Draken, played by Blade, who leads a band of mutant zombies in the hunt for an elixir for immortality that they later find is also coursing through the veins of a young woman, played by Lane.

Directed by Nic Andrews, the title was shot in high definition with a cast that included Monica Mayhem, Dillon Day, Karina Kay, Destiny Deville, Kirsten Price, Tommy Gunn, Tyler Durden, Chris Webber and Ron Jeremy.

“I’m so thankful to new sensations and Nic Andrews to play Jessie and play this role in this movie,” said Lane.

“I get to blow people up and shoot a gun so it’s like a mainstream movie with explosions and everything. It was pretty hot and pretty exciting.”

Lane had been picked from a number of starlets who were interviewed for the role.

Nominations for the awards are based on the number of minutes a movie has been watched. The winners were selected based on viewing habits of millions of viewers across the AEBN Network last year.
