Assraelis Stir Makes International Headlines

The brouhaha surrounding TightFit Productions' use of the trademarked Kof-K kosher symbol on its Assraelis DVD packaging made headlines this weekend in The New York Times, as well as on the front pages of Israel's two largest newspapers, Yediot and Maariv.

"Throughout history, humor and our ability to laugh have separated the Jewish people from other cultures," TightFit owner Oren Cohen stated in response to the flurry of media attention."The defamation of Judaic culture and religion was never our intent when we selected the [Kof-K] symbol. I trust that the Jewish people can discern humor from malice."
