PHILADELPHIA—HotMovies.com has announced the launch of its fifth annual Porn Star Bracket, newly dubbed the Pornament, which will begin March 19. Inspired by the NCAA’s annual college basketball championship series, the tournament will feature 64 leading adult stars in head-to-head bracket-style match-ups, with the winner of the final round receiving a $2,000 cash prize along with a $500 donation in her name to the charity of her choosing.
For this social media event, HotMovies.com will tweet out and post on Instagram all 32 initial match-ups on Selection Sunday: March 17.
The first round kicks off on March 19, and voters will have the opportunity to select their favorite stars in 32 head-to-head matchups. At the end of each round, votes will be tallied, and the winning starlet of each matchup will move on to compete in the next round—until only two contestants remain in the championship.
The previous iterations raised awareness for several worthy charities. HotMovies.com has placed a larger emphasis on charity promotion and will be working to interact with the different foundations and organizations all throughout the event. Fans will login to HotMovies.com to vote, where they will also receive a special offers such as free minutes and free scenes for each round of the tournament. Voting is free; there is no purchase necessary in order to vote.
The list of previous Pornament MVPs includes Jodi West, Hope Harper, April O’Neil and Georgia Jones. This year, in order to increase both the performer excitement and the amount of donations to various charities, HotMovies.com has added three side prizes to the Pornament: Miss Congeniality, Most Creative Campaign and Funniest Campaign.
The tournament runs March 19 through April 8. Fans are encouraged to vote early and often—but no more than once per day. The winner will be announced on April 9. Voters can see the matchups here beginning March 17.
