Hot House, Pulse Sign Multiyear Distro Deal

SAN FRANCISCO—Gay adult studio Hot House Entertainment and Pulse Distribution have signed a multiyear exclusive wholesale distribution contract, the companies announced Wednesday.

The agreement, effective Aug. 25, will benefit customers of both entities by making Hot House’s catalog available to Pulse’s retail network and offering volume-based discounts and incentives, according to Pulse Vice President of Sales and Marketing Janet T.

“We are thrilled to offer another high-end brand like Hot House to our customers,” she said. “Quality products like Hot House continue to do well with consumers looking for hot men, top-notch production values and the decades of experience director Steven Scarborough brings to the product. We’re really excited to target our distribution and marketing efforts behind this powerhouse brand.”

Janet also said Pulse is taking pre-orders for two upcoming Hot House DVDs, Backroom Exclusive Videos Vol. 20 (expected to release Sept. 7) and Sanctuary Part II (due Sept. 20). More information about Hot House products is available at or by calling (818) 435-1604.

Since founding the studio in 1993, AVN Hall of Famer Scarborough has developed five brands under one umbrella: Hot House, the company’s award-winning premium brand; Club Inferno, a hardcore fetish label; Backroom Exclusive Videos, a collection of scenes shot for the web and marketed on DVD; Plain Wrapped Video, a brand devoted exclusively to toys and butt play, and Pack Attack, a mid-priced gangbang line.
