Henri Pachard Project Moves One Step Closer

NEWHALL, Calif. – Considering that the invitations went out with the wrong address on them, it's surprising how many adult industry members actually managed to find attorney Ron Miller's house for the official Henri Pachard Model Release Signing Party and Barbeque on Sunday afternoon.

At least 25 performers, crew and supporters did manage to locate Miller's Newhall residence for an afternoon of quiet chat and expressions of support for legendary director Ron Sullivan, who put in a brief appearance early in the afternoon – atypically silent because his salivary glands, necessary for proper speech, have been destroyed by the radiation and chemotherapy for his cancer – and wife Deloras, who presided for several hours over the barbeque itself, serving up chicken, ribs, burgers and dogs.

It was a day for legends, with retired performer Bionca Seven arriving with her brother, and later, Ron Jeremy, accompanied by Moonlite Bunnyranch owner Dennis Hof. Also on hand: Cameramen/directors Ralph Parfait (aka Jason Sullivan) and Jane Waters; scripter/costumier/photographer Raven Touchstone; veteran actress Mika Tan (nursing a broken wrist); directors F.J. Lincoln, Roy Karch and Geoff Coldwater; as well as David Valentiner of the Lifestyles organization and former Hustler editor Wally Wharton.

Bionca, who doesn't appear to have aged a day since her last on-camera performance, had the interesting news that fellow legend Debi Diamond is moving back to the Los Angeles area, though it's unclear whether she will return to performing in adult features (beyond her role in the Pachard project, now titled Henri Pachard Reduxxx, that is).

Mika Tan also reported that she recently had to change her phone number due to having been stalked by a mainstream director who'd tried to rent her location for a shoot, but became infatuated with the porn star. However, after he sent her over 60 text messages in one day, Mika took the radical step of changing her number, so potential legitimate industry employers trying to reach her at her old number should be assured that no, she hasn't quit the business.

Finally, a hearty shout-out to Ron Miller for having given of his time, services and money to help the Pachard Project stay on track!
