Grooby Launches Initiative to Give Talent Free Licensed Content

LOS ANGELES—Trans production company Grooby announced Tuesday that it has launched a new initiative to allow performers to use their Grooby scenes on their individual fan sites at no cost.

“We recognize the difficulties our performers face keeping their fan sites up to date and the complications (and costs) some have in getting professionally shot content,” Grooby owner Steven Grooby said. “With that in mind, we’ve come up with a plan that we think should allow our models to profit further from their shoots with us, and to keep their members happier with extra content.”

Under the new licensing arrangement, performers who shoot with Grooby will be able to select their sets to be cross-posted to their individual fan sites 90 days after the scene goes live on Grooby’s websites.

Grooby will be backdating the availability of content to performers so the first new scenes will be available starting April 1, 2022. However, any performer who worked with the company within the last 24 months can now request a scene from January 2020 - November 2021 to be used on their sites.
