Greg Fitzsimmons Returns as AVN Awards Host; Promoting on 'Stern'

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Comedian Greg Fitzsimmons, who co-hosted the 2006 AVN Awards show with Jesse Jane, will once again perform those duties for the 25th anniversary ceremony next month at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, this time with Tera Patrick at his side.

Fitzsimmons is scheduled to appear on "The Howard Stern Show" Thursday morning to promote the return engagement, which this time around will be open to the public — the second AVN Awards show to offer such admittance — and takes place the night of Saturday, Jan. 12, 2008.

Fitzsimmons has been a frequent guest on "Stern," "The Late Show With David Letterman," "The Tonight Show," "Late Night With Conan O'Brien," and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," has served as a writer on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Politically Incorrect," "The Man Show" and "The Emmy Awards," and regularly headlines the top comedy clubs in L.A.
