LAS VEGAS—AVN Media Network recently announced its slate of seminars and workshops during the upcoming AVN Adult Entertainment Expo, taking place January 24-27 at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas. Two of the panels are aimed particularly at performers who either produce or want to produce their own content. Moderated by 2017 AVN Web Director of the Year Glenn King, the panel discussions will provide expertise about how to make content and how to make money off that content. The panels will take place on January 25 and January 26, and will feature some of the top self-producing performers in the industry. Details are as follows:
SEMINAR: The Means of Production
January 25, 4 p.m. , Festival Hall C, Paradise Tower
In today’s adult film industry, you no longer need to wait for producers to book you so you can pay your rent. This panel consists of successful performers who produce their own content. They will provide you with tips and advice on how you can make money by being your own boss. This seminar will start with a discussion of ways to make money quickly and then move into ways you can earn revenues that will pay off for many years. Each of these panelists can share with you how they have been successful, and will answer your questions.

WORKSHOP: Making Great Content

Many years ago, shooting your own content required expensive cameras, lighting, editing, and locations. Today, one can get started with a minimal investment. This panel of experts will give you tips and advice on how to make great content. We will start with pre-production (casting, arranging content trades, choosing locations, etc), cover things to know about on-set shooting, lighting, content creation, and talk about post-production. Each of these panelists are performers who direct and produce, as well as performing.
