LOS ANGELES—Adult luminary Gina Valentina recently branched out into the music world with the release of her first single, "I Don't Care," and the accompanying video for the song is slated to hit recently launched all-girl website GirlGirl.com on September 26 as part of a sex scene featuring Valentina, Gianna Dior and Lacy Lennon.
The scene will mark the first installment of miniseries Lesbian Rockstars from director Alan X, which will include a total of four scenes all preceded by full-length music videos of various genres.
"When Alan X asked me to be a part of this movie, I was shocked and a little bit confused, only because I've never heard or seen any porn scene since I've been in the industry that's featured something like this," Valentina said. "I thought it was an amazing idea, and honestly I wanted to do this for a while. I've been talking about making music, so I thought this was a great opportunity for me to finally push myself to record my very first song and use it for this movie!"
She continued, "I had so much positive feedback from everybody in my industry, and so many people outside of my industry, even my fans, which blows my mind, and I'm sure blew a couple other people's minds too. Overall, I'm just so happy that Alan asked me to do this movie for Jules Jordan's new site GirlGirl.com because this was the first time I actually got to record and drop a song, as my own, and have it in a movie ... makes me believe that anybody in our industry, if they really want to do something, can do it and nothing should ever stop them. I encourage girls who are talented in whatever they are doing, even if it's sucking dick, to try and pursue it!"
In addition to the "I Don't Care" video and sex scene, Lesbian Rockstars will include "Country Star" with Kenna James and Isabelle Deltore, "Pop Star" with Anny Aurora and Jade Baker, and "Rock Icon" with Joanna Angel and Karma Rx.
"I couldn't be more thrilled about collaborating with Gina on this project," Alan X commented. "When I decided to do a series with music videos for the intro, Gina was one of the very first performers who came to mind because of her interest in music. When I offered her the part, she exceeded my expecatations by offering to recond an original track to use in the video instead of a stock track. What blows me away more than anything else is the quality of the music she came up with. I mean, it's really good! You will have to hear it yourself to fully appreciate it."
Lesbian Rockstars will be released on DVD through Jules Jordan Video in October.
