Gia Paloma Plans to Do Features

A day after leaving Extreme Associates as its contract star, Gia Paloma says she still feels a part of the Extreme family but now looks forward to doing features and more gonzo titles.

Although Extreme makes occasional features through its Evolution Erotica brand, Paloma’s experience with the genre was limited, having performed in mostly gonzo titles for the company.

“There are so many gonzo movies a girl can do and I feel that I can try new things not just in the industry, but in regular life. I’d love to learn to act and do movies where I can do that.”

Her recent signing with the Spiegler Girls agency is giving her that opportunity, she says.

“Mark (Spiegler) works with a lot of high-end companies who do features, so I’m looking forward to working with Spiegler.”

Already, Paloma is scheduled to work with Rob Rotten at Metro Interactive and is now filling her schedule with additional shoots.

Still, the young starlet was grateful to Extreme’s owners Rob Black and Lizzy Borden for signing her and nurturing her talent.

“I really loved being with Extreme and working with Rob and Lizzy and the chance they gave me to work there,” she said.

“But I think I needed to explore other opportunities and see what else was out there.”

Paloma said she and Extreme mutually agreed to part ways just a year after she signed with the company, where she starred in a slew of videos such as the recently released Lizzy Borden’s House of Whores 3, 2005’s The Animal and last February’s Return to Insanity.

“We’re all still friends and it’s important to me that people know that,” she said.

Known for her aggressive double penetrations and edgy sex scenes, Paloma has made her mark for her willingness to try anything in her videos.

Just 21, Paloma says she has grown considerably in her year with Extreme and thanks Black and Borden for the nurturing environment on and off the set.

“It’s a small company and it really is like a family and they both care so much for Paris and me,” she said, referring to Extreme’s other contract star Paris Gables.

“It was a great learning experience for me and I feel like I just graduated college and I learned a lot because of Extreme.”

Gables echoed her sentiments, saying Paloma has developed into a major talent with Extreme.

“She has really grown a lot since she’s been here and she’s become a great performer,” she said. "She has a lot more confidence now and you can see it in her scenes."

A one-time student at Cal State Fullerton, the Walnut, Calif. native left college to join the industry two years ago. But it didn’t take long for the then 19-year-old starlet to develop her skill for performing hot scenes.

Choosing her name from the film Gia, based on the life of star-crossed model Gia Carangi, and her last name from Pablo Picasso’s Daughter Paloma, which means dove, the young starlet was on her way when she signed with Extreme for a 10-feature deal last year.
