Jet Set Productions announced today that Wet Palms 4-6, the "second season" of its award-winning gay porn soap opera, will be released on DVD May 16. This second installment of the ongoing series began running on NakedSword.com in February.
Wet Palms: Episodes 4-6 is available as a boxed, three-disc, approximately-four-hours-long set. The hardcore DVDs contain additional sex scenes and "extras" that include outtakes, character profiles, a behind-the-scenes featurette, and an extended photo gallery, according to Jet Set Productions President Brett Drysdale.
"Wet Palms 4-6 picks up where the first three episodes left off and adds several new characters to the story of never-ending treachery, intrigue, and sexy bed-hopping at a West Hollywood hotel-slash-bathhouse," Drysdale said. "It's sort of Melrose Place meets Queer as Folk —with hardcore sex."
Joining original cast members Michael Soldier, Brad Benton, Jason Ridge Ethan Marc, Rob Romoni, Bret Wolfe, Rod Barry, and Gabriel Knight are Jason Adonis, Kelly Jacobs, Gus Mattox, and Zak Spears.
Wet Palms 1-3, released on DVD in November 2004, won trophies for Best Screenplay (Jack Shamama and Michael Stabile) and Best Sex Comedy at the GAYVN Awards show in March.
Produced by Mark Hovanec and directed by Matthew Moore, Wet Palms' third season (Episodes 7-9) will begin shooting in June in Southern California.
