Gay Porn Star Andy Dill Dies

Popular gay porn star Andy Dill died Wednesday afternoon in a San Francisco hospital. The cause was meningitis.

The suddenness of the illness' onslaught took everyone aback. "But I just spoke to him the other day," was a phrase that echoed through emails and phone calls as the unhappy news spread yesterday evening.

Dill, highly regarded as a person and performer, got his start in gay XXX in 2003. His individual look and sexual expertise won him immediate recognition.

In 2004 he wrote, directed, and co-filmed Bedrock for his company, Dill Media. (The movie, which he also appeared in, was distributed by Raging Stallion Studios.)

Most recently he was associated with BearFilms.com as Vice President of Production.
