LOS ANGELES - Friends and colleagues of Brian Surewood have established a legal defense fund to support the veteran performer, who is facing vehicular manslaughter charges stemming from a tragic road accident that killed a five-year-old boy and critically injured the boy's mother and sister.
Donations may be made to Surewood's legal defense in the form of a check made out to "Client Trust Fund" and sent to the offices of his attorney: Fattorosi & Chisvin, 6345 Balboa Blvd., Building III, Suite 370, Encino, CA 91316. The firm's office number is (818) 881-8500.
Anabolic director Tony T is also relaying checks to Fattorosi and encourages Surewood's friends and colleagues in the business to contribute.
Director David Aaron Clark told AVN that "[it] is sure to be a long, difficult expensive process to see that the
facts of the case get a fair hearing and that Brian is judged on them rather
than on his chosen line of work."
With no reduction in his $1.5 million bail, Surewood remains incarcerated. His next hearing in the case is scheduled for December, with a trial date expected sometime after the New Year.
