LOS ANGELES—Zoe Bloom, 20, comes from Pittsburgh, Pa., and in fact still lives there, commuting to Los Angeles to have sex on camera.
The petite (5-foot-2) brunette was spotted on Instagram by an agent. “He asked me if I would be interested in joining the agency. I needed a job at the time. I thought it would be very fun.”
And now? “I love it. It’s the best thing I’ve ever chosen to do with my life.”
She makes regular trips to Porn Valley. “I haven’t kept track of all my shoots but I usually come here once or twice a month and I work almost every day.” Bloom says. “I recently worked with Blacked.com and it was just amazing, they treated me so great. I worked for New Sensations, with James Deen, and that was really exciting. I worked with Manuel Ferrara for Twisted Visuals and I have another scene coming up. I’m really excited for that.”
Bloom explains, “When I’m not working I’m back home in Pittsburgh, where I have a second job. I work at the local mall where I live. I sell hair straighteners and hair curlers. It’s just a sales job. I make a commission on what I sell. It’s nice to be out of the house and have a ‘normal person’ job. Being out here in L.A. and working in the porn industry is not the most normal lifestyle so I like to go back home. I have the best of both worlds.”
Do the folks back home know what her other job is?
“Yeah, they do. They found out pretty quickly because of my Twitter feed. I have really nice and supportive friends and family. I haven’t lost any of them,” Bloom says.
Porn, she feels, “has changed me into a different person, cuz I was so nervous for people to find out, in the beginning. But now that it’s out there on all those screens and everyone knows and to not have to give a fuck about what anyone thinks, that’s just the most amazing thing in world for me.”
She adds, “I just love all the people I’ve met so far. I’d love to keep doing this for as long as I can.”
