Tommy Wood moved to the United States from his native Czech Republic in 2008. “I started living in New York City and doing modeling. And now I’m here in L.A.” He’s 34 years old, 6-foot-1, 180 pounds.
He was starting “my own personal site and I hit up OC Modeling and talked to them if I can hire some female talent, and they were like, hey, why don’t you just join us [as talent]. And I was like, ‘I’ve been doing professional modeling for 15 years and I don’t know if I’m ready for the transition.’” They went “back and forth for almost a year” before he finally decided to take the porno plunge. Back in the Czech Republic, “I played soccer until I was 18 years old, and then i found a modeling agency there and they started sending me around to different countries. I was doing modeling in Milan, Paris, London, New York. I just stayed in New York and was working for companies like Macy’s, Barney’s, The Gap, Calvin Klein, Armani. I just kind of got bored after 15 years of doing that. ... For me the fashion industry is more harmful to the planet than the sex industry. There’s no harm in nudity or sex.”
He had a key non-sex role opposite Angela White in Drive, participated in a Nia Nacci gangbang, and went one on one in scenes with Laney Grey, Vera King, Winter Jade, Ginger Banks, Avery Jane. With them and other women he has become a prolific creator of content at ManyVids.com, ModelHub.com, PornHub.com and OnlyFans.
Wood is a passionate film buff, citing favorite directors Tarantino, Scorsese, Kubrick and Lars Von Trier. Living in a beach community, “I go the beach a lot and dip in the ocean. Watching standup comedy is always fun. Rock music [he plays guitar] is a big part of my life. Hey, music and films, that’s what drags me to L.A.”
“Sex is always fun,” he muses. “I used to do it at swingers parties and that kind of lifestyle, but people are not tested and it’s hit and miss.” Porn, on the other hand, “is safer and you get paid on the front end of it. I like the professionalism of it. You get off and you get money. Seems like a win-win situation.”
