Sailor Luna’s journey to porn stardom started in South Dakota, where at age 19, after a bit of at-home camming, she first faced the XXX camera.
“Oddly enough there was an amateur porn studio in my hometown of Sioux Falls. It was a taboo-incest studio. He was most popular on XVideos—that’s where he uploads most of it—and he has a Clips4Sale store. It was all incest, usually brother-sister.”
The internet exposure got her some attention before she started shooting professionally. She moved to Las Vegas, worked with a local agency and commuted to Porn Valley for work. Now she resides in Los Angeles, repped by OC Modeling.
Tall (5-foot-10), dark-haired and forthright, she jumped right into pro hardcore, shooting for ATKingdom, Cherry Pimps, Brazzers.
She did her first anal scene with Marcus London in Team Skeet’s Anal Money Pit. Now, she says, she enjoys anal sex. She did it with Manuel Ferrara in Manuel Opens Their Asses 7 (“That was definitely exciting”). For Kink.com she worked with Tommy Pistol (“a great dom”) and in a five-man gangbang that included a d.p. She had fun working for LeWood in She Loves Anal 3 (\with the late Bill Bailey).
When not working, she enjoys music. “I played in a band when I lived in South Dakota. I like playing bass and sometimes when I get really stressed out I like singing songs that I like. It makes me feel better.”
She has a passion for Japanese anime and in fact took her name from the iconic Sailor Moon TV cartoons that as a little girl “I was obsessed with.”
“I enjoy sex work because I can choose my own hours. Save my money and take a break if I need to or want. I like being able to be my own boss, in control of what I do. ... Ever since I started doing amateur porn with that guy in my hometown, I haven’t had a day job. I think I must be doing something right, at least.”
And she wants to keep doing it. “I’m in this new state where I never thought I would be, doing things I never thought that I would do, but it’s exciting and refreshing and I like it. It’s been working for me.”
