Fresh Faces: Nicole Clitman

LOS ANGELES—Nicole Clitman found the adult industry at just the right moment.

“After being so depressed I really needed something to kick my ass back into gear,” Clitman tells AVN. “And I love it. I love it so far. It’s crazy but it’s awesome.”

A lifelong performer who grew up in Illinois, Clitman traveled the country singing for a non-profit organization before making her debut in May for Reality Kings.

It was on that set in Florida that her porn persona came to life.

“It was a foot fetish shoot and we shot in South Beach at a boutique and they were like, ’on camera you look exactly like Nicole Kidman. Like, you have to change your name,’” she recalls. “So I thought about it for a while and I was like, ‘what about Clitman?’ And they were like ‘yes, that’s the one!’”

And now a lot more than her stage name is proving memorable.

The talented blonde starlet has been booked early and often since coming to the West Coast, doing scenes for Kink (SexandSubmission.com, My Slutty Sister), Evil Angel’s Mike Adriano (Anal Intensity 4 and Ass Fucking Session 2) and LeWood Productions (Little Anal Vixxxens 2).

Now represented by ATMLA as of Tuesday, she also has performed for Girlfriends Films (Women Seeking Women Vol. 131 and Cheersquad Sleepovers 18), North Pole (My Step Daddy Makes Me Cum), Porn Fidelity (TFSN Cheerleaders), Wankz VR and Digital Playground (The Perfect Pair), among others.

“I’ve just been embracing everything. I’ve been taking it all in,” Clitman says. “Sometimes I’m quiet because I’m listening to everything. I’m processing everything. I’m learning every day, all day. But the experience is so much fun. I love it.

“At first I’m a little nervous because I don’t know what to expect because I don’t know the people yet. And it’s just really laid back and professional. So I’m really happy with it so far.”

The 24-year-old decided to give porn a shot after weighing many factors.

“I had some pictures that were going around on the internet six years ago. And I still get harassed about them until this day. I was really depressed about it. An ex-boyfriend posted them and people would send them to all my friends,” Clitman explains.

“So I moved to Pennsylvania. I was traveling the United States singing for a non-profit organization. I’ve been a musician my whole life, a performer my whole life and it even started spreading to Pennsylvania. I was really down on myself. I lost myself. I was depressed.

“And then one day I thought about it and I was like, is it really that big of a deal? I’m a performer, you know. Why don’t I make some money off of it?”

Clitman, who is originally from south of Chicago, spent four years in Pennsylvania traveling with a non-profit organization to VA medical centers and veterans’ homes to perform for military veterans.

“And honor them and salute them for their service,” Clitman says. “We would sing in a gospel show in churches all over the place to raise money to be able to travel and I did that for a year.”

Clitman says now she is a full-time adult performer, but she would someday like to get back into singing.

“It’s been a couple years going through a depression. I lost my passion for it, but now I’m finding myself again in a performing aspect and a business aspect. Networking. I have my self-esteem back up. I’ve actually been singing in the shower more. It’s been a long time since I’ve been that happy,” Clitman says.

“If I meet the right people maybe I’ll get back into it someday. I sang my whole life. I was a music major, minored in vocal performance. I sang opera. I didn’t graduate. But that was quite an experience. I learned a lot from that. I took voice lessons for five years. I played flute for eight years. So performing arts have been a huge part of my life.”

Clitman watched porn before getting into it, but didn’t follow any particular company.

“But before my shoots I do all my research on the company and get to know as much as I can so I can kind of know what to expect,” she says.

During one week in early June ahead of this interview, Clitman did four anal scenes—throwing down with seasoned studs Mike Adriano, James Deen, Mark Wood and Seth Gamble.

She’s also already done a little acting, playing Fox News host Megyn Kelly in a “live debate” on CamSoda.

“That was my second shoot ever,” Clitman says. “It was a live debate and I had to fuck Donald Trump. It was Tony D, the male talent. Parker Swayze was Hillary Clinton. Yeah that was interesting. It was really fun.”

Even though Clitman is a career entertainer, she admits to some nerves before the cameras roll.

“Which is something I’ve always struggled with as a performer,” Clitman says. “You just… you get in your head and you doubt yourself. But I’m learning more to take any situation that I find negative and try to turn it into positive energy and just make the best of it.

“And so far everything’s been great. I was really nervous for my first scene. It was a foot fetish scene with Johnny Castle for Reality Kings in Florida. It was ‘Sex in the City’ themed, this huge production and it was my first shoot ever. It was very frightening. But once we got going it was just natural. It felt natural. And I’ve been hearing a lot of great things. I take direction very well. But the more I work the more natural it comes.”

So far she says producers can’t believe she’s 24.

“Everyone’s like, you need to stick to the teen stuff while you can. So I’ve been doing a lot of teen, young, natural scenes,” Clitman says.

“It’s been awesome. I love it out here. It’s a huge change of pace. I’ve never been this far over to the West Coast. It’s my dream to be in California. So I’m literally living my dream right now.”
