Engineering’s loss was porn’s gain when Nari Park decided to dive into hardcore. Born in South Korea, raised in Chicago, the 24 year-old began by selling private clips and decided to take things a few steps further. “I was working as an engineer at the time—that’s what I went to school for—and at some point I was like, How can I make a full career out of this? Instead of doing this as a side job.”
And that’s what brought her from Chicago to Los Angeles in October 2016 for her first scene with NetVideoGirls. “Now I’m local. I just love it out here so much ...”
At the time of our interview Park estimated she’d done about 20 scenes. She has three favorites:
“One is working for Adam & Eve, which was like the first big thing for me. Because Adam & Eve is on TV and stuff—I saw it before getting into porn. And I was working with Jasmine Summers and she’s a beautiful girl. They didn’t have a title for [the movie] while I was shooting it. It had to do with yoga.
“After that I actually got a scene with my best friend Norah Nova, and we were working with a famous girl, Amarna Miller, and it was for Filly Films, directed by Nikki Hearts and Leigh Raven, who are my idols. Omigod, that was a dream!
“And the last one was working for Kink.com. Because I really love bondage and I really love electricity. So I got to work for Whipped Ass where I was being dommed by Veruca James. Omigod, I did that scene less than two weeks ago and I’m still having chills just thinking about it.”
Does she do only girls?
“I do everything. I know a lot of people when they’re bi, they like guys but lean toward girls, or they like girls but lead toward guys. But for me I don’t really have a preference. I just love ’em all!”
Park loves everything she’s doing—”I have an insatiable sex drive”— and isn’t shy about saying so.
A high point of her life so far was attending the AVN Expo in January. “I got to meet all of my idols: Kissa Sins, Johnny Sins, Katrina Jade, Nikki Hearts, Leigh Raven, Joanna Angel, Small Hands. I don’t think that’s an experience that anyone can live down. Not only did I get to meet them, but as a person in the business—now we’re both in the business and I’m a fan of yours. I just got the full 360.
“Kissa Sins is like my dream girl. She’s beautiful, she’s got a bubbly personality. I got some pictures with her and Johnny. I know they do their Sins Life and if I could be part of that, I would just die of happiness,” she giggled.
“I love working. I just love going out and meeting people. I like to meet my fans a lot so I go to a lot of different expos and events. I also like a lot of water sports—not only the sexual kind—which is great. In L.A. you have the diving, the boating, tubing ... In Chicago our quote-unquote beach is like a tiny sliver of sand along the lakeshore.”
She looks forward to doing much more. “The director for Whipped Ass is talking about bringing me back for some of their other sites like ElectroSluts. Kink.com is my goal. I have loved Kink before I was even doing porn.”
She plans to stay true to her motto: Continue to Keep Trying. “I have it tattooed right here [points to her ribs]. It’s also to try new stuff. Always be pushing my limits, always be pushing my boundaries. I always want to try something new.”
