LOS ANGELES—At the beginning of March, Liz Jordan was a pretty 18-year-old girl working at a juice shop at the mall in her hometown. By the end of the month, she’d been laid off due to the coronavirus pandemic and had signed up with OnlyFans in hopes of bringing in some money as the economy collapsed.
Truth is, she may well have been on OnlyFans eventually whether she’d lost her job or not, but being out of work with the world closing down around her certainly accelerated the process. She was already a showoff-in-the-making and who could blame her?
“I have always loved taking racy photos of myself, but never really shared them with people,” she says. “When I had heard about OnlyFans, I figured it was the perfect thing for me to keep doing what I love but also make money at the same time.”
She posted some photos of herself and a few solo videos, “but nothing too out there.” It didn’t have to be: Liz quickly attracted fans—by July she was in the top 3.4% on the site—and had caught the attention of World Modeling, which signed her just 37 days after she posted her first pic on OnlyFans. World Modeling has since closed its door and Jordan now is represented for bookings by Foxxx Modeling.
Liz, who turned 19 in June, grew up in Northern California, the middle child, lived a normal life in a quiet neighborhood. The sweet little thing turned troublemaker in junior high and by high school she was “getting around,” as they say, but was never in serious trouble.
“You could say I had a high sex drive and liked to see what different guys had to offer me,” she says. “I never did anything too crazy, such as threesomes or anal or even experimenting with girls, though there was one occasion where a girlfriend of mine went down on me. But it was all pretty vanilla.”
Vanilla can be pretty darn tasty, but Liz was definitely developing an appetite for more. She discovered that she liked older guys and that BDSM was something that made her panties steamy.
“After high school I definitely got to be more experimental with different kinks and different-aged men, I found out that I definitely prefer older guys because they tend to focus more on pleasing me rather than themselves,” Liz says. “I played around in the BDSM scene and found out I’m really into bondage and overall just being submissive.”
The time Liz charmingly refers to as “before porn” is her entire life up until six weeks earlier, when she did her first scene for NetVideoGirls.
She made her on-camera debut on May 25, a boy/girl for the company. Her second soon followed, also for NVG, this time a threesome, two girls and a guy, and it marked her first time really getting to enjoy the pleasures of being with another girl. A shoot with FTVGirls soon followed, a more time-intensive shoot than the couple hours each of her NVG shoots took.
“I was super nervous for my first scene, not really because of the male talent but because it was just unnatural and different to have all the cameras around and one in my face,” she says. “I had never even filmed a sex tape before, so I had never had to worry about everything else going on around me. It was a better experience than I thought it would have been—I thought there was going to be a ton of pressure to do everything perfect because they only did one take and that was it, but they liked my shyness at the beginning because it showed realness and that it was legitimately my first time doing porn ever, so it was easier than I thought.”
Liz says her new career as a Porn Valley starlet almost never happened. Matt Morgia from World Modeling (who is now with Foxxx) discovered her on Twitter where she was promoting her OnlyFans. He sent her a message saying he was interested in signing her to the agency, but Liz thought it was a scam. Not only was she totally new to NSFW stuff and to OnlyFans, she had a lot of sketchy people DM’ing her. After a little research on her part, she and Matt spoke on the phone and he put her on with another of the agency’s hot newish finds, Avery Cristy, and Liz then knew it was legit.
“I figured it could be a fun experience and good opportunity to grow not only my OnlyFans, but also my name and my brand in the industry I guess you could say.”
Porn wasn’t totally new to Liz, she was “for sure a porn fan before this,” watching it maybe before she should have been. The girl had needs and she wasn’t always able to find fellas who could meet them.
“I was just so interested in sex and I had a high sex drive,” she says, “not many guys could satisfy me the way I could satisfy myself. I never watched any specific genre. Maybe after high school when I started experimenting with BDSM I would watch more bondage-type videos and kinky videos.
“The first performer and person I actually started following on my first NSFW twitter account was Owen Gray, but other than that I wasn’t super familiar with other performers besides, like, Riley Reid or Kenzie Madison.”
Jordan says not everyone knows about her career move yet.
“My family has still not found out, surprisingly, because I still live at home, but my friends and people from my high school are starting to find out now that my scenes are beginning to come out,” she says. “Surprisingly, I’ve gotten a lot of support. I thought I would get judged a little bit since I did have the reputation in high school for sleeping around, but so far everyone thinks it’s pretty cool, they’re just shocked I’m actually doing porn.”
She knows the big reveal is coming and hopefully her parents will be as supportive of her as her friends have been. She also knows that the pandemic shutdown will eventually pass, and the job market will open up again. So will we find a little-less-innocent Liz back at the mall taking our juice orders in a few months? Don’t count on it.
“I don’t have any specific goals at the moment, but I definitely want to keep pursuing this even once retail jobs start hiring again,” Liz says. “Not only am I making more than I ever did at my old job, but this is something that I genuinely enjoy doing and it interests me and it’s such a cool job to have.”
