LOS ANGELES—Lily Larimar admits when she first reached out to Motley Models in early January she didn’t think it would go anywhere.

“I had been following them on Instagram and also some of the girls that they represent and I was already doing webcamming, so I kind of just applied and I honestly didn't even expect to hear back from them,” Larimar says. “Because I thought they were like too big for me.”

Larimar, who had just moved to L.A. from her native Pittsburgh with only two suitcases and her two Turkish Angora cats, had about 100 followers on Twitter at the time.

“So I was like, I probably won’t hear back from them. But then I did that exact same night,” Larimar says.

She met with Motley Models owner Dave Rock that same week and not long after did her first scene for ExploitedCollegeGirls.com.

If it weren’t for the quarantine interrupting Larimar’s volcanic start, she may already have been flirting with 100 scenes this year. Instead the rising 22-year-old star has almost 50 credits so far with a couple dozen more coming soon as she returned to shooting in June after a four-month hiatus due to the industry shutdown.

“It’s crazy that I got started and then quarantine just happened because I feel like I was so ready to go,” Larimar tells AVN. “I had just moved out here and then all of a sudden you can't go anywhere or see anyone. So that was really weird.”

She moved to the City of Angels in December 2019 with an open mind—doing porn was on her radar but she wasn’t entirely sure if the opportunity would materialize.

“I didn't really have too many expectations,” Larimar says. “If anything, I knew I could keep doing webcamming because I can do that from anywhere. And I thought about maybe working in a dispensary or something on the side to kind of meet people. Because webcamming can get really lonely when you're just online all day.

“But then I ended up hearing back from Motley and I liked that opportunity better.”

The Motley president Rock tells AVN the decision to represent Larimar was an easy one.

“What is there not to love about Lily?” Rock says. “When we met her she was already showing great habits as a successful cam girl. When she contacted us to take her talents to the major leagues, that amazing smile of her’s sealed the deal.

“The crazy thing about her is when you talk to her in person she comes off so sweet and innocent. You would never think that girl could deliver the hot scenes that she does. As evidenced by all the companies that rebook her, she’s become one to watch over and over again.”

Larimar had her sights set on living in LA “since I was like 14 or 15.”

“I never knew how I would have the means to,” she recalls. “And webcamming kind of made me realize I can do this from anywhere and I can live where I really want to live. I always wanted to live somewhere with warm weather since I was a little girl.

“And I just like the beach, too. So after I was doing webcamming I just kind of dropped everything and I was just like, ‘You know what, if I'm going to do this I would rather do it now while I’m young. What if I wait till I'm older and then get to California and realize that's not what I wanted for so many years?’

“So I just did it. I don't know. I didn't have anything planned. I didn't even have a place. … It all eventually worked out. Everyone thought I was crazy though.”

Larimar sold lingerie at Victoria’s Secret by day and cammed by night before moving to the West Coast. She says no one at her store, where she worked part-time for about two years, knew about her moonlight hustle online, where she was a non-nude model.

Lily did some of just about everything except for managing her Victoria’s Secret location.

“I did cashier. I did sales associate. I did the back room—like stocking and organizing. And then I also did the little dressing room area where girls will do the bra size measurements. And then I even did the floor setup,” she explains.

“Either really early in the morning or real late at night, they would do the holiday floor setup, where they would just change the whole floor and do all the new apparel out in the front and the windows.

“I don't know exactly what that's called, but it's basically just like the people in charge of decorating the floor. Yeah, I was kind of all over the place.”

When Larimar started camming in late 2018, she worked at an independent studio affiliated with Streamate. She found it through an ad on Instagram.

“It was just like ‘online modeling’ I think it was advertised as. And that drew my attention. So I called the people and I still didn't know what I was doing when I signed up,” Lily recalls. “And I had never heard of Streamate and I didn't even know it was associated with Hustler Live and Pornhub Live. I didn't know I was broadcasted that much at the time.”

While camming from the studio, Larimar didn’t get naked.

“I would just like talk to people,” she says. “And then I started researching more about it. And that’s when I got more into it. Then as my earnings went up, I would get more and more into it and research it every night before bed.”

Larimar stayed at the studio for about six months, leaving in the spring of 2019 and taking a break from camming before returning and trying Chaturbate. Now she looks back at her time at the cam studio in her hometown with a sense of gratitude.

“It was cool at the time. I always say if I didn't find that studio, I would’ve probably never even discovered webcamming,” Larimar says. “They introduced me to webcamming. They gave me a place to do it and set me up. They gave me a computer and a webcam to use and a location to do it, because at the time, I couldn't afford my own apartment.

“So they gave me that good introduction to it. But it wasn't necessarily what I wanted or saw myself doing in the long run, staying at that studio. I eventually wanted to get my own place and do it out of my own house.”

It was while Larimar was doing camming that she started discovering more porn girls on social media.

“And that always looked more fun to me because it was stuff I was already doing on webcam, except it was like real-life acting with other people. So I felt like that was more interesting and more fun,” Larimar reasons.

Now that her profile has grown Larimar has almost 38,000 followers on Twitter and another 47K-plus on Instagram.

“I don't really know how I feel about that,” she says humbly. “It's crazy to me... I didn't think it would grow that quickly. And then it seems like a scene drops and then all of a sudden I get 1000 or 2000 followers right after that scene drops.

“And I don't think I realize the exposure it gets. It was just something I wanted to do, so I did it.”

Larimar says she liked her Missa X scene with Codey Steele because it was her first time doing both dialogue and sex.

“Because a lot of my scenes, yeah, there’s some talking in it, but you just get a general idea of how it's supposed to go and there's not a script with it,” she says. “It's like, ‘Say something along these lines, but say whatever you want.’ And with this one I actually had to memorize lines so that was like kind of challenging, but also fun and cool.”

She continues, “Codey was really great all day and he was good for being my first scene with a script because he was really patient with me because I was kind of nervous.”

Larimar also recently performed for Nubiles Films and MetArt, pairing off with emerging go-to guy Jay Romero for Nubiles.

“I actually had met him at AVN [in January], and I had really wanted to work with him since I met him,” Larimar reveals. “And so we finally did and it was like a passion scene.

"I was like, ‘Oh, this is gonna be good.’ Because I already thought he was cute. So I was excited that was a passion scene with him. And then we ended up having really good chemistry throughout the day."

The 25-year-old Romero, who was born in Algeria and grew up in L.A., made his porn debut in May 2019 and already has more than 100 credits. He says he had his eye on Larimar, too, after meeting her in Vegas.

“She’s adorable,” Romero tells AVN. “The porn gods put us in our first scene together for Nubiles. They have a bunch of sites, but this just so happened to be the most cinematic one and it was Jay Rock as the director, so it all worked out.

“It went very well. We already had met up and hung out prior to the scene, so we had chemistry. It was really natural from beginning to end. We were super comfortable with each other so that kind of enhanced things even more. And just being able to see the footage after it was released—it’s surreal.”

Romero, who gained invaluable acting experience while doing theatre in high school, worked as a waiter in fine-dining restaurants and also did high-end catering before holding down a job in credit card processing sales for more than three years prior to breaking into adult with Hussie Models.

“It’s been pretty busy, honestly, and I’m lucky to be in this position,” he adds. “To be getting as much work as I’m getting, it’s been a good ride.”

Meanwhile, Larimar was cast with Robby Echo for MetArt.

“And I had never heard of him, but then I got there on set and he was just like really nice,” she says. “We were good at making eye contact with each other and we just got along really well.”

Now that she is finding her stride in the industry, Larimar says she would like to keep going for as long as she can and maybe someday explore the production side, too.

“So far I really like it and everyone's really nice and very professional with me,” she says.
