Kenzie Kai (rhymes with “my”) did one video in 2014, “but then I got back with my boyfriend, so I quit. Things went sour a couple of months ago, so I’m back. I had so much fun last time, I like doing it.”
When we talked with her this spring, she had shot three boy/girl scenes and two solos. “I like that I get to travel, and I like that I get paid just for having fun, pretty much. It’s a fun industry.” She’s happy doing b/g scenes, and “I would like to ease into girl/girl, but I have to take it slow. I’m not particularly comfortable with that yet, but I can see myself being comfortable with it.”
Kai says sex is better on camera “because the guys know what they’re doing, as opposed to guys at the bar. It’s more repetitive on camera, and you have to be positioned so the camera can get a good view. I was surprised that a scene takes that long, but it makes sense. You have to cut a lot of it out and put it all together.”
She describes her dream scene: “A nicely chiseled man with a great beard pounding me from behind as I overlook a mountain view.
“I like nature,” she adds with a grin. “Doing it on the beach was not a good choice, though. Spring break, 2012. South Padre Island. We really wanted to fuck on the beach. We went to mile marker 69—we were in high school—and it was hard to stay on the towel. It was windy, it was chilly, I was scared a crab would come up and bite my toe the whole time. I do not recommend it. Sand everywhere. It goes in every crevice, even where you didn’t even know you had a crevice.”
Her words to live by: “I’m not here for a long time, I’m here for a good time.”
