LOS ANGELES — Kaiia Eve points to two significant moments in her adult entertainment career so far that have reminded her that she is on the right path.
The first came at the 2018 YNOT Cam Awards, when she won Multi-Platform Master, underscoring her versatility and consistency when she was an independent creator.
“I was recognized for the fact that I was able to put my content on so many different platforms and be successful on these different platforms,” Eve says. “I thought to myself holy cow, maybe I am doing enough…”
Then earlier this year, Kaiia signed with Andre Madness and Jonathan Morgan’s Nexxxt Level Talent Agency for professional representation for her porn scenes, further solidifying that she belongs in the major leagues.
“When I got signed to an agency that was a really big moment for me as a tattooed and curvier small performer,” she says. “That has been very fulfilling.”
But with Kaiia’s penchant for hardcore and willingness to go big, there’s no question she can stand toe-to-toe with adult’s top studs.
A pro dominatrix and switch, who is as adept at ass-kicking as she is at squirting, Kaiia started making clips and camming when she lived in Denver, posting a variety of content on ManyVids. Then she started going to Las Vegas, where she has resided since March 2019, broadening her horizons with multiple ball-busting appearances for EvolvedFights.com.
She did only girl/girl until 2020, booking her own scenes for a year before signing with Nexxxt Level this past March.
“I was independent and started to ease my way into more boy/girl shoots and I was running into a lot of directors who were less likely to hire me because I was independent and not wanting to take as big of a chance, which I can respect,” Eve explains.
“So I decided OK, I’ll play the game and get an agent and I applied to Nexxxt Level two times.
“I sent in mediocre photos at first and then I sent in some really nice photos. … I submitted that set and within the hour Andre gave me a phone call back.
“I was really excited after talking to Andre. I felt like they really were the right fit for me. … I respect the inclusivity of Nexxxt Level.”
Some of Kaiia’s recent work includes a threesome with Mike Adriano and her BFF Lydia Black for All Anal Action 4 released in September; her first solo trans scene with Izzy Wilde in her debut for GenderX.com, directed by Jim Powers; and her first boy/girl outing for Bang! in which she took on Jay Romero under the direction of Chris Streams.
“That was an amazing gonzo shoot for me,” Kaiia says. “I was so proud of it. That was my first big solo boy/girl. All my other mainstream scenes have been more geared toward boy/girl/girl.”
She says working with Romero, the three-year veteran who was born in Algeria and grew up in L.A., was “a pleasure.”
“He was very professional,” Eve says. “It was a great scene.”
Meanwhile, Eve reveals that she is holding onto a special triple vag-penetation scene that she will wait to unveil until her official website launches through AdultEmpire.com.
“They’re building my site right now and I’m hoping to launch it by the end of the year,” Kaiia says.
Indeed, the 28-year-old, former restaurant manager—who has a degree in Sociology—is building palpable momentum as she heads into the final stretch of 2021.
“It’s really truly exciting,” Kaiia says. “I’ve always wanted attention in some way and porn has helped me get the level of attention that I like to have on myself while simultaneously running a really awesome business.
“It’s interesting seeing my name get out there. It’s almost a little bit like impostor syndrome, like oh my gosh [my scenes] are really released on these same sites as some of these amazing, big stars that I looked up to. It’s exciting to see my name in more places. It makes me want to keep going.
“And with all the changes in the industry it makes me a lot more confident that this is the job for me and the trials and tribulations have only solidified that this is really where my heart is.”
But Eve carried herself with a certain swagger long before she stepped onto a porn set.
“I always took speech classes because I wanted to be talking in front of crowds,” Eve says, explaining that her entry into adult has only encouraged her to embrace that self-assuredness.
“While it might look like I’m being submissive on camera, I’m still the person who is in charge.
“I knew I was very dominant and outgoing and this profession has only made me rise. It has made me rise to being this outspoken, dominant person.”
And for Kaiia—it’s pronounced like kai-ya—the ascent has only just begun.
“I’m a dominatrix but I am sultry and slutty, too,” she adds. “That’s exactly the same type of person I am when it comes to my content. I’m a tiny little bombshell who can take huge dicks."
Kaiia worked in the service industry for 10 years prior to adult. She helped open The Cantina in Denver in 2014 and worked there until 2017. In addition to management, her restaurant experience includes being a hostess, line cook, waitress and bartender.
“It prepared me for so much in life,” says Kaiia, who was born in Maine and moved to Denver when she was 2.
Eve also gained invaluable knowledge as a production assistant for veteran producer/director B. Skow in Vegas, handling various duties for his Girlfriends Films, Hustler and Penthouse productions.
“I’m so grateful for all the things I learned,” Kaiia says. “I learned a lot from him.”
Originally a psych major in college in Colorado, Kaiia gravitated toward sociology because she was interested in “studying disparities among minority groups.”
“I was passionate about wanting to help people and understanding inclusivity and intersectionality,” she says.
“Fortunately, I was able to translate all that into porn. I think sociology only helped me to be successful the way I want to be in porn.”
