Fresh Faces: Jane Spade

Jane Spade had been modeling for two years before entering the adult industry as a performer. "Pretty much everything, from fashion to boudoir and then nude. Mostly in New Mexico." She traveled from her native Albuquerque to Phoenix to shoot her first scene, a b/g anal. ("It wasn't too much of a difference. I was surprised that Albuquerque was hotter than Phoenix.") "I enjoy anal, it's kind of my favorite thing."

She chose to become on-camera talent because "I really love sex, and I feel like if you're going to do something with your life, you might as well do something that you enjoy doing, not something that you're forced to do just to live up to some standard of life. ... The adult industry talent is clean, safe, attractive and experienced—and you get paid for it. Quite a bit."

Spade says she's looking forward to doing "everything." She has some acting background, and she also dances and sings. "I did some singing and dancing in the Penthouse Club in San Francisco. It was freezing. I didn’t like the city too much, but the nightlife was nice. The first time I got into San Francisco, I walked my happy little butt all the way over to the Golden Gate Bridge, just to see it. I love all the architecture."

She'd like to work with Lana Rhoades, and likes "the aesthetic value" of Tushy and Vixen product: "I love their quality. I really like things that look good." Her dream scene is a d.p. with two guys and another girl. "Two guys that are fun meet up with two girls that are fun, and then things happen from there. I'd also like to do a bunch of anal scenes with a bunch of guys."

Spade admits she's "a thrill-seeker. I jump off cliffs into the water." She found the quote "Sometimes what you're most afraid of is the thing that sets you free" on the internet, and she thinks of her entrance into adult performing as an example of that: "I was really afraid of breaking out of the bubble of people who are very conservative and enforce those beliefs: 'You shouldn't do this.' I really love this, and I want to open myself up to this. Once I finally accepted that this is what I love, and I'm going to do it, it was very liberating for me. I'm empowered by that. I'm not living my life by somebody else's standards, I'm doing what I enjoy."
