Izzy Bell came to L.A. straight from Minnesota and started shooting the day she arrived, doing her first scene for ATK. “It was an adventure, that’s for sure,” she said. “I got there. I had set the bar very low, because I didn’t know if people would be professional or not, because I had never done this before. They were super professional. They made sure I was comfortable the entire time. It was so awesome. I’m still here.”
She started performing because “I thought it would be fun. Somebody asked me if I wanted to and I took a shot.” Back home, she was “lollygagging around. I had never taken a nude photo of myself until they asked for one. I’m not that kind of person.”
Why the change from never having a nude picture taken to a full-on performer? “Sometimes you think to yourself that life’s a little too short. And people are already judgmental assholes, so why not just go for it and hope for the best?”
Although she was still working g/g and solo when she talked to AVN, she said she wants to do a g/g/b scene “on a beach. I don’t mind the sand. I’d like to do it with Jean Val Jean. He’s a cutie. Crossing my fingers on that one.”
Ask her where she wants to go from here, and she answers philosophically: “Up. I want to be the light in the darkness. I want to help other people build up their own confidence. I’m tired of these girls fat-shaming, skinny-shaming, ‘You can see her tits.’ No. I want to be the illuminating light that says ‘Everything’s okay, it’s not the end of the world. She’s beautiful, she’s beautiful, she’s beautiful, she’s fuckin’ sexy.’ Seriously. I’m done. I’m tired of the negativity.”
