Ivy Aura started camming in Portland when she was 18. A little over a year ago she turned to hardcore porn—“and I like it so much more.” Camming was a way to make money for college but “part of me wanted more.”
She hooked up with ATMLA at the casual suggestion of someone she met on a set, and she’s been working ever since, commuting to Porn Valley from her Portland home.
“One of the first things I did was actually before I signed with ATMLA. It was an Evil Angel site, Hookup Hotshots, with Bryan Gozzling.” She’s done quite a few more scenes since then.
Her favorite so far was with Ryan Madison for TeenFidelity. “It was super-cool. They had me as this Goth girl, dressed all in black, in dark makeup. I’m usually cast as the teen girl next door, little makeup, in bright young clothing. So being able to do that was a lot of fun. They had me shoot like a super artsy vibe where I stare into a broken mirror looking at myself.”
What she’d really like to do is “a blow bang. I have an oral fetish. I am one of those girls that genuinely likes sucking dick. If I had to choose between having sex and sucking dick, it would be full-blown sucking dick. So a blow bang would be the perfect thing for me.”
Working in porn, she says, “is just something I feel passionate about. I’ve always been a sexual person, I’ve been like that my entire life. And now that I’m finally able to do it in a way that’s really fun and I get paid for it. That’s pretty cool.
“I meet people that are like-minded, they see sex and sexuality the same way i do, openly and honestly. And you connect with people on a new level. Some girls i know it’s for the paycheck, they show up on set and then just get it over with. I genuinely like doing it. I love sex, it’s easy for me. I’m going to keep going for as long as I can.”
She also plans to start college classes—”online, so I can keep sucking dick,” she laughs.
She is trying to decide if she wants to get her degree in English or to go to school for a degree in funeral service—to become a funeral director. “It’s kind of a weird thing but it’s just something I’ve wanted to do for a while.”
She explains that “the funeral industry right now, it’s got a very interesting turn where more and more women are involved in it. I feel it’s really important to have more people who are full of empathy and understanding. Because the current industry is full of a lot of people who would take advantage of those who are in periods of mourning and going through stressful times in their lives. And I feel like that’s just cruel and it’s terribly manipulative. There aren’t enough people like me who are empathetic. I can’t feel good about myself if I’m fucking someone over. If there were more people like that in the industry then we could have a huge turnaround with it.
“I just like helping people.”
Among Ivy’s words to live by is the motto Go With the Flow. “I like to be able to look ahead in life and not worry so much. I’m going to start doing anal soon. That’s my big life plan right now.”
