As her name suggests, Cali Caliente is a California girl. Cali grew up in San Francisco and as for the Caliente—“hot” en español—Cali says she “brings the heat.”
In high school, Cali was a cheerleader, dancer and captain of the step team. “I guess you could say I was kinda popular,” she says modestly.
It makes sense. She’s pretty and petite.
Cali studied business management in college and today she applies that knowledge to her career in the adult industry. While she made her debut earlier this year before the industry shutdown, she previously worked as an exotic dancer around the country and also as an independent content creator.
“I used to shoot content with my best friend at home before I went mainstream,” Cali says. “It was one of the many reasons I wanted to get into the adult industry.”
She turned her one-bedroom apartment into a studio in 2018. She purchased a ring light and began ordering “cute little outfits and butt plugs” and fans soon started sending her toys as well. She set up a stripper pole, decorated her bedroom with bright colors and shot mostly solo content, posting it to IsMyGirl, FanCentro and ModelCentro, and did some webcamming as well.
“Once I got comfortable with shooting my own content, I started looking for male performers to work with,” Cali says. “It was hard because everyone lived in LA, Vegas or Florida and I was located in the Bay Area. I would use my best friend or the guy I was dating at the time. We used condoms and it didn’t look that good on camera. I decided it would be better for me to work with actual performers who were tested and well known in the adult industry, so I moved to LA to jumpstart my career by signing with the VIP Connect and doing boy/girl.”
While she’d long harbored the desire to be an adult star, what really pushed Cali over the top was witnessing herself giving a blowjob.
“It was the first time I watched myself giving head that made me want to do porn,” she says. “I’ve always wanted to be a porn star. I love porn and I love sex and I love watching myself. I wanted to show people that I’m a great performer. I feel like it’s something I should share with the world!”
All of her practice shooting at home gave her a leg up when it came to professional shoots. While she was only able to squeeze in a few before the industry shutdown—including a pair of two-guys-and-a-girl scenes for Bang! and Dogfart as well as a “Gloryhole Initiations” for the latter—things came naturally for her.
“The directors were impressed, because I’m a newbie, but performing comes naturally for me, so I was really comfortable while shooting my first scenes,” she says. “I thought I would be nervous, but I killed it.”
Based on her early scenes and the list of things she is available for according to her VIP Connect model page—everything from girl/girl anal and DPs to gangbangs—Cali has no intention of easing into hardcore scenes. At 25, she is a woman who knows what she wants—as well as what she doesn’t.
“I really want to do a six-guy gangbang,” she says excitedly. “I also want to do double penetration. I’ve been experimenting with anal and finding out that I really like it. I really want to explore more sexual adventures so I can share them with my fans.”
