Fresh Faces: Aria Khaide

LOS ANGELES—“I’ll sleep when I’m dead,” Aria Khaide says. A nominee for Best MILF at this year’s AVN Awards, and a two-time nominee for Inked Angels’ “Perfect Pussy” award (one for each year she has been a performer), Khaide has just put her two kids to bed, and is talking to AVN from her home in New Jersey. Her husband, Chris, is working in the background. “I’m an East Coast hustler.”

A former Division I athlete (cross-country and lacrosse) with a degree in Kinesiology, Khaide (whose name comes from a combination of Game of Thrones’ Arya Stark and her husband’s gamertag) approaches her work in the adult industry with the precision and diligence she applied to being on the mens’ wrestling team in high school. That is not a misprint. And, on her very first day in the adult industry, she shot five scenes in a row.

“I told Chris that if I’m doing it, I’m jumping in with both feet. I shot the scenes, we walked the floor of the convention, and went to the after-parties.”

Even though she is quick to point out that she also loves shooting girl/girl content, Khaide has made her name in the MILF/horny housewife/cuckold niches. It’s there where her brand has taken off, and where she fields a lot of fan speculation.

“People ask me if my husband is OK with what I do,” she says. “He’s the one who suggested it! He said, ‘You’re such a greedy slut that I can’t wait to share you.’”

And so, in early videos, Khaide can be seen teasing the camera that her husband is holding (“trying not to crack up,” she says), and saying things like, “My husband can’t satisfy me” when, in reality, the two are business partners, supportive parents, and very selective swingers.

“We’re monogamous outside of porn,” Khaide says, "because the general public isn’t getting (STD/HIV) tested like we are.”

Khaide, who is represented by 101 Modeling, says that she and her husband have rules that they have worked out about how porn will affect their relationship. She talks about the importance of always going home to her partner, regardless of what she may have gotten up to on set.

“We trust each other,” she says.

Cuckold material is the closest thing to BDSM straight porn gets, and Khaide is famous for it. There are even fan pages and memes devoted to Khaide heaping verbal abuse on poor “cuckies.”

Is she that cruel in real life?

“No! I’m a what-you-see-is-what-you-get person,” Khaide says. “Fans know a lot about me and my home life. They know I’m married, they know I have kids, they know I’m over 30. Still, they find it very funny that I can be bubbly and giggly and smiley.”

So how did she discover she had a talent to root out the willing cuckold?

“Well, I’m a late bloomer (but I’m making up for it). I realized I could get guys off. From one to the next. I was a hunter, competitive about it—I guess my testosterone levels are high—yet I felt really good about being able to do that for people.”

While it might be hard to believe for someone so confident, Khaide said she was terribly self-conscious growing up, and credits the adult industry with helping her feel at home in her body. She is particularly proud of her “Perfect Pussy” nominations. She recalls with pride shooting a scene with Sara St. Clair—whom she had watched in movies as a fan—who walked into the room, “looked me up and down, and said, ‘I’m gonna lick the fuck outta your pussy.’"

So it’s not all cuckolds with Khaide. Her pussy really does come out to meet fans.

“There are two types of pussies,” Khaide points out. “Innies and outies. I have an outie.”

Khaide balances motherhood and porn through organization and sheer will. She has a wall calendar, a day planner, writes lists before bed to relax, types scheduling notes to send to her husband and, when she goes to Vegas for work, for example, will take an early flight, get tested, check into the hotel, shoot her scenes, get a red-eye home, and be there when the kids get up. “And I’m a Mom again.”

Because of this, she has little patience for others who don’t treat porn as a professional job, or who do the work “in a passionless way.”

“I love this business,” she says. “You don’t waste time or resources doing things halfway, so if you’ve got a clean test and you’re there on time, I’m enthusiastic and ready to go. I want to be the hype girl.”

(Unless you’re a cuckie, and then Aria Khaide might have some harsh words for you. But you’d like it.)
