First Look: Spunk'd

Producer/director Justin Kane stopped by this afternoon with the trailer from his new company's first production, Spunk'd – and we've got to say, it's looking good.

"It's a spoof of 'Punked' on MTV," Kane explains. "In the TV show, Ashton Kutcher busts in on a situation, followed by his camera crew, and he goes, 'You got punked,' whereas in ours, our guy busts in on a sexy situation, ejaculates, and announces, 'You got spunk'd.'"

But the feature parodies more than the M-TV show. Various scenes also send up "Gray's Anatomy," "The Simple Life" and even the Olson twins' movie – and potential viewers will be happy to hear that the versatile Hillary Scott gets to play both twins – with special effects so seamless that viewers won't be able to tell there aren't two girls in the scene.

Also in the cast are Katie Morgan, Penny Flame, Aurora Snow, Jada Fire, Eva Angelina, Vanessa Lane and a bevy of newcomers – 13 gals in all, essaying six sex scenes with the likes of Steven St. Croix, Evan Stone, Herschel Savage, Ron Jeremy and more.

Kane, a film school graduate whose first adult job was as in-house producer for Nectar Entertainment, left a few months ago to form his own company, 6969 Entertainment, little realizing what a challenge he had in store.

"The entire crew save the still photographer had never done porn before," Kane admits. "We had mainstream pros behind the camera and adult pros in front of the camera."

Fortunately, Kane's prior experience in adult served him well in training his camerapeople how to shoot sex properly.

Kane will be attending the AEE, looking for distribution for the DVD of Spunk'd, which will be available first as streaming video on his company's website, spunkdthemovie.com.

"My plan is to make it available only as streaming video on my website, and that'll be the exclusive way people can view it until we come out with the DVD in a couple of months, or in a soft version on cable," Kane said, adding, "I would love to keep doing features and get the softcore versions out for the mainstream to see. I don't think it will happen with this one because of the ejaculation issue, but I would really love to get the softcore version of this movie on Cinemax or Showtime or something like that."

Kane had hoped to debut his trailer as part of AVN's Award show, but since we don't do that sort of thing, look for him at the Expo, DVD in hand, ready to preview it for anyone interested – and, he promises, no one will jump out after it finishes playing and yell, "You got spunk'd!"
